@Thorn Wilde Thanks for sharing that song ... i like it. i really like the one @MacGreg posted yesterday on the status updates too. Very different but i like them. i really never heard much music growing up. Jeff only ever wanted the TV on and said music was for 'fags'. yeah.. go figure ... So i like to listen. Michael who likes music, just never had anything to play any on other than his laptop. Finally a few months ago after begging for one for awhile He bought a small radio/cd player thing ... which i enjoy very much. i like to listen to the radio. It helps me not hear the dicks upstairs or the ringing in my ears when it's loud. And it just makes me feel good .. it's mostly rock from the 70's to 90's .. but i like it. I listen to classical as well. i know nothing about it other than i like it.

i write poetry because i love it and because it helps me understand the world and i guess my reaction to it. like my signature says: poetry is how i write my world. i like that, Thorn, thanks for sharing that... It's all right cause there's beauty in the breakdown. I suppose there is or it becomes beauty, later. i think a lot of poets write to solve things, and to sort out their world and feelings. i work in a place where all are welcome ... all. it is part of the culture there. and you know.. people can get along, people are just people no matter their colour, their shape, who they love ... there is nothing to fear. people just want to live their lives. Yes, i know there are bad ones.. but bad ones come in all colours too. so don't fear your neighbours ... or hijabs or turbans ... i have a dear muslim female friend. who wears her hijab, swears like a trucker and wishes she could have a dog .. i love her dearly... and she asks me stuff and i ask her .. and there is nothing to fear. get to know your neighbours. Really they are not that different from you. thanks for this very thoughtful piece.
