Sorry if you found that unclear. The whole situation from the start is unusual, throughout the story. The doctor calling Robert, the sidestepping of usual procedures, the quick push to have their application fast-tracked ... all of it is why it is unusual. Normal applications take much longer. I did have a social worker review this and he was happy... He also said that surprise visits are normal but not usually until the child is placed. Yes, hopefully all will go well and Max will arrive in the cabbage patch!! Thanks for your questions and for reading!!

That is such a shame. Social workers never seem to be in the right place at the right time. Thanks for your insightful comments. I did have a social worker look a few chapters but i appreciate you sharing. Thanks again.
