hmmm well, they sell egg poachers they work well. i got two of them but only use the water method. simmering water, with vinegar and some salt.. then just swirl the water in the pot.. eggs broken into a small bowl.. while the water is moving.. gently put the egg in.. take 2.5 to 3 minutes -

um. the writing is good. lots of sort of nothing happened, if that makes sense. i'm very happy for them but i dont know why... so in that sense it is not a story... short stories i'm sure you know have a beginning, middle, climax and end. This is sort of all beginning .... so left me unsatisfied.

Of course it is ...

Thanks Sir. about the discipline. i think that's very true. when i've had some rough times ... people often want to hug me, but it's not what i want. i want the discipline. give me something to concentrate on.. kneeling in silence, cleaning your boots, something. i appreciate the desire to try and make me feel better, but i think it just lets me slip or stay in that not so good place.

senescence noun | sih-NESS-unss Definition 1 : the state of being old : the process of becoming old 2 : the growth phase in a plant or plant part (such as a leaf) from full maturity to death Senescence can be traced back to Latin senex, meaning "old." Can you guess which other English words come from senex? Senile might (correctly) come to mind, as well as senior. But another one might surprise you: senate. This word for a legislative assembly dates back to ancient Rome, where the Senatus was originally a council of elders composed of the heads of patrician families. There's also the much rarer senectitude, which, like senescence, refers to the state of being old (specifically, to the final stage of the normal life span). I've not heard this one before ... -

me too ... didn't sleep well at all ... your throat hurts cuz of your rock and roll lifestyle.. all that singing!! have a good day yourself! xo -
Thanks AC. When i first gave it the title Changes ... i was thinking only of how the motorcycle accident made a difference. As i wrote, well the number of changes the boys dealt with, and we also, became a lot clearer to me. The changes never stop, do they? For all of us, all the time. Max is thinking. He's a bright kid. Thanks for your comments...and everything you've done and said to make both these books better. xo

I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I'm afraid chapters are as long as they need to be so they end in a natural place. I do appreciate you following this story. It's posted weekly each Saturday morning. Thanks again for reading and for your comments.

yes Sir .. night all. -
this makes me remember the early days with Michael Sir. asking things of me i didnt really understand. But we'd talk about it and eventually i'd understand. At first silence scared me.. had i done wrong, was He mad? Why am i kneeling here alone? it's hard and scary sometimes. But your Sir is there and there is always love and most especially the hug at the end of the lesson, or play. i think i need that now. This was very good, Sir. Very well written. Thank You. i read this again. it is the discipline, the doing, following the instructions, not knowing the why, from this we learn to trust our Sir. Reading this brings much emotion for me. it makes me not regret anything. it is a life filled with positive things, like love and peace, if we can learn to trust and believe. he is so new here, when he says "I'm sorry i disappointed'.. my heart breaks because he doesn't yet understand this is so far from the truth.
