Mikiesboy commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors Archive
Cassie's story was very good ... it was a good read, and a great description of the flu! -

Prologue and Chapter 1 - Going Home
Mikiesboy commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Prologue and Chapter 1 - Going Home
Thanks....I hope you enjoy the rest of Tait's story. -
They did accommodate me when i asked to start a bit earlier. They can't really do much about breaks. It's all about coverage to be available for customers.
-
Yeah.. i have a chair. A good one. But i have to go there, and how i do that is my problem, not theirs. I have a schedule i am required to follow. If i don't want to effect my bonus i have to adhere to it correctly 95% of the time. That means logging off and on at breaks and lunch to the minute. Not sure what else they can do for me. They do not offer work from home for our type of work. There are privacy concerns. We have access to customer's private info, their accounts.

Yeah, Byron is a mercenary prick maybe? I'm sure it won't be spent on an extra nice pool...LOL. He's gonna buy Michael a beach ball and a pool noodle? And yes we do know and maybe Enderson sees Byron as a kindred spirit. Takes one to know one?
-
Still interesting. Never trust anyone named Bryon ... He certainly didn't mind those extras zeros. He has balls enough to ask daddy-in-law for some spends. He's one to watch perhaps. Enderson certainly is.

They like you to write. Mine does too. Hope you decide to share more often.

a very poignant piece ... i'm glad you chose to share it.

Hey, thanks for sharing. You're lucky. No working from home for me, no adjustable hours.. just butt-in-seat and robotic schedules. I'm glad you have options. I've been falling semi-regularly. They aren't sure why but the cane has helped that too. So it's my new best friend. Thanks for reading and your comments.

Thanks, C. Glad you didn't hate the cliffhangery ending.

Let's hope they can overcome this challenge. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for reading. If you decide to read the rest, i hope you enjoy it.

no ...just what happened to me yesterday.. it'll be fine.

yep.. winter is crap.. i posted a nice pic in the Live Poets forum.. which is a pretty winter picture. In the city the snow is black longer than it's white and it all just gets ugly and messy. i am just grateful that Michael made me get a very warm parka for winter and gloves too. See so many people here wearing running shoes in winter.. no gloves, hats or scarves ... you gotta be mental ... cuz you just never know. Things can and do break down...anyway.. i cant stand listening to myself any more.. gonna go and do something

i was lucky i wasn't far from work. there were people out there last night with no way to get home and no where to go to get out of the cold. i've never been in anything like that, even when i lived on the street. never seen it so bad you cannot see anything but white.. not the traffic lights down the road or anything. there have been no plows around here at all .. not for the building or the streets. We will see if i can get out of here tomorrow. not happening today. the problem in cities .. is where to put it. The plows push all this crap up along the roadside.. like 3 feet high.. how are people supposed to get over that shit at the crossings and stuff? It's dangerous but well... in this city ... it's only cars that seem to be the concern, clearing sidewalks seems to be an afterthought.
-
Well... my cough is back this morning... i feel like i've been through the wringer.. my knee is very unhappy, as are my lungs and back. i will never put myself in this position again. i knew yesterday i should have left at 1pm.. just worked a half day ... but no, don't listen to yourself.. .idiot. We got about 25cm yesterday which is about 10 inches.

charisma noun | kuh-RIZ-muh Definition 1 : a personal magic of leadership arousing special popular loyalty or enthusiasm for a public figure (such as a political leader) 2 : a special magnetic charm or appeal The Greek word charisma means "favor" or "gift." It is derived from the verb charizesthai ("to favor"), which in turn comes from the noun charis, meaning "grace." In English, charisma has been used in Christian contexts since the mid-1500s to refer to a gift or power bestowed upon an individual by the Holy Spirit for the good of the Church, a sense that is now very rare. The earliest nonreligious use of charisma that we know of occurred in a German text, a 1922 publication by sociologist Max Weber. The sense began appearing in English contexts shortly after Weber's work was published.
