Thank you, Centex. As always, your review makes me smile with the questions you ask and your observations. Aiden's loyalty has always been to his pack and it's Alpha. Coming into his own just reinforces that as he realized that he has much to learn. He's just starting off his adult life with a new job and his mate. The more Ethan uses his abilities the easier it gets for him. It could also be a byproduct of his mating with Aiden as well. Based off Jonas and Anthony who have very vague memories of their time as feral, it's a good question of the ones the rogues use will remember anything, though that is a discussion for another chapter

Great chapter! I wanted to scream "No" when the girls walked up and interrupted the conversation and was sad when their friendship drifted apart. It's great that they are happy in their lives, but that is one of those 'what ifs' wondering if they would have been happier with each other.

This is a cool first chapter. I like the pace of it and the way the friendship builds between Paul and John. Very nicely done.

Another incredible chapter, tim. I remember the silents and not wanting to ask for help even when wanting to beg for help. The worry that help would turn into horror. There were nights I wanted to take something to numb the pain of going to "work", but was always too scared to try drugs even when they were available. I'm happy you finally opened up to Paul and got out of that life, just as I'm happy you're here to share a part of your life with us. Hugz go you, and one for Michael for not taking no as an answer.

Thank you LadyDe. I hope that is a good speechless. I have a hard time reading brutality in different stories on here and debated about writing it myself, but given the options I put before myself it was the one that seemed to work. There had been a full moon a few nights before Ethan was bit, so he has about 27 days until the next full moon when he goes through his first shift.

Thank you Just. Going over the various drafts I had for this chapter, this one felt like it worked best to me. Other outcomes for Michael just didn't feel right. It was also intentional that it took place in the same chapter as the extreme happiness of the marriage proposal and turning. While it isn't two sides of the same coin, it is one person that came with nothing who is trying hard and building a life vs. someone that had everything and because of jealousy, threw it away. Michael had been given a chance at life when he should have been put to death, but instead he went looking for elements of the lycan world he thought he could get to serve him. For Michael to learn his lesson, he would have to first take responsibility for his own actions and stop blaming everyone else for the problems he has caused.

Thank you Centex. The first couple drafts of this chapter I had Michael freely giving himself to the rouges as a down payment for their help. As I read over it that way, it never felt like it worked for me. Going back to what he was planning to do to Ethan (gang rape and murder), I rewrote it as I posted it and felt it was a better outcome even with his increasing insanity. Just like when I caught heat from many for Michael not being put to death, I knew I'd catch some for the brutality he ended up walking into. It is a situation of his own making though as he sought out the rouges in hopes of bringing a similar outcome to his former pack. His mental state allowed him to quickly accept and even thrive on what was happening as he imagined the outcome for the pack. There is still so much they don't know or understand about Ethan and can only base observations from the prospective that he's human. The doctor seeing that Ethan had been bit knew at least from training that it could be a violent reaction to being turned. I think he was also trying to reassure Aiden that all would be okay. Ethan was also meant to be turned by Aiden so most any reaction short of death would have been normal. All in all, the chapter is a shape contrast between the light and dark sides of the story and show the lengths the one on the dark side will go.

Thank you Gee. Your comments like the others are always a great help to me. I agree I could have played out the mental deterioration a little better. Michael's scenes were done a little different from the rest as multiple weeks were compressed into the normal time line of the story. I do my best at catching errors and probably proof read a chapter 10 or more times before posting it. If something isn't spelled wrong according to MS Word, I have to visually catch it and usually find one or two words on each pass, but things will get missed. I've never had an editor helping me with any of this. At over 100k words posted so far, I personally think I've done okay. Both you and Onim's comments about errors that exist are greatly appreciated.
