The knowledge Michael and the others would remain locked up provided Ethan with a sense of relief. He was happy his primary attacker was not going to be on the streets looking for him again, at least not for a while. He hoped some kind of peace could be reached in whatever the issue was between them. Aiden kept telling him it was not that simple; he did not think it was anything that could really be settled like with Tyler, Connor, or Kevin. He explained how Michael had thought for years he was

Thank you Argentus. Even when I wrote the suggestion of Robert being neutered I never got the mental image you just gave me of him wearing the cone. You literally have me laughing at the thought. Michael will soon find out his fate.

Buffy, I can't say thank you enough for your wonderful compliment. I never thought this would be as popular as it is and I'm very thankful for all the people that are reading this. It encourages me to finish this project and to try and do so to the best of my abilities. I almost feel sorry for Michael, Chris and Robert as well. I'll leave it at that for now as far as they go.

Thank you CG. I kind of think the Alpha should have ordered to have Robert neutered, but that's just me He might redeem himself in time. I think Kevin and Connor are more like Tyler and see what they did as well as how wrong it was.

Thank you for this Cannd. Aiden would love to be living with Ethan already, but it's only been a few months that they've been together as a couple and wants to give Ethan time to adjust to pack life. Ethan is still growing as a new member of the Tucker family which is a good place for him to be after how things went with his biological family. Aiden will never push to actually bite Ethan. He'd wait a 100 years if that's how long it took for Ethan to be ready. Ethan has a lot of emotional baggage to off load before they can reach that point. On top of that, both are enjoying the actually dating process and giving their love time to build.

You're very right and I dropped the ball on the portion. I had it marked for a re-write and cleared my notes on that section without changing it. It is probably one of the draw backs to not having a beta reader and trying to catch everything myself. I'm not sure if Aiden would have told anyone or tried to figure it out on his own or possibly discussing it with Ethan who still thinks he is an average human.

I always look forward to your comments and thank you once again for the compliments and support. Ethan was always meant to be confusing, with little hints popping up that another character might notice or pass off as 'can't be' type of thing. I have pulled a things from classical mythology so far, just like I've pulled aspects of real life in forming the characters. I really like your thoughts on his possible nature. I promise I won't keep you and everyone else waiting too much longer... or will I

Thank you ILike. There's been a lot of speculation so far about Ethan. I don't consider any of it spoiling the story since I won't confirm anything until it hits the point in the story where something is revealed. I'm very happy you're enjoying this

Ethan and his abilities are coming out one layer at a time. Alex and his partner Nathan are cool guys. Aiden's known them for years while growing up and always been friendly. I wanted the Alpha to be more of a fatherly type instead of leading by force and violence.

I'm extremely flattered and humbled by your compliment. Thank you rbenn!!

Sheriff Forester headed north out of Silver Pine along the twisting roads of this more rural portion of the county. The lights atop his car flashed as it sped through the hills and valleys to the Coswell farm, about twenty-five miles out of town. He was met by one of his deputies and a tracker. “Sheriff, we have two trackers and one hunter following the scent trail. I sent another two trackers on the origination trail to find where they entered the territory. They’re both lunis. It appears

Thanks Irish. Yeah, Michael is one psychotic little SOB. Now to see what happens to the two. The realization that exile or death may await him, how will Chris approach his fate. What effect will this have on the Alpha and Jackie Stockdale. As true mates, they know how it feels to be completed by the other and can imagine what it would do if someone murdered one of them. More to come soon.

Palace intrigue This is a cool story so far. I look forward to it continuing. Great job!

A very cool first chapter!!

It's great that the one person that needs a hero in his life, becomes the hero and saves two lives. Very well done!!

Never trust, never do favors. If Stefen/Eric looked as bad as he described, what brother would leave his little sister with him even to get laid. Collin is just a creep. Yet another outstanding chapter though.

Cool chapter. That hungry feeling can be terrible. I'm really enjoying this story. It is very well written.

Michael is at least the 5th generation on his line since the pack was founded. All the preceding generations were the unchallenged Alpha and as such, Michael see's it as his right to follow. Unlike those that came before him, he seems to be leaning towards a more authoritarian leadership instead of an Alpha as the father of the pack, assisted by a council to govern, Thinking that the power of the Alpha is absolute instead of a duty to the pack. Aiden is strong, so strong that in their years of rivalry Michael has never been able to win a challenge against Aiden. He's taking the cowards approach he goes after Aiden's soft spot, the mate. Poke the beast too many times and you're likely to get a violent response, which seems fitting as it happened in the real world 74 years ago today at Pearl Harbor. The timing of the feral attack is a question, though the answer is anyone's guess at this point I never gave much thought to my writing provoking questions in the readers, but I will say it is fun to see. Thank you!

Thank you Onim. With your comments being close to what Centex said, I'm going to combine my reply to you both under his. Thanks for keeping me motivated on this story.

Thanks CG It might be a little too late, but Chris is beginning to see just what he's done and grasp the gravity of misplaced loyalty as well as a desire for power. The feral issue could mean something, but then again it might be nothing at all More to come soon.

Being the loving parents they are, they see the side he projects when he's around them. They didn't see how he was around his friends or followers. Tyler was smart enough to see the fall coming and got out while he could.

Sometimes the best way to take out a superior opponent is to avoid a head on confrontation when you know you'll loose that way. Though in this instance, it's the cowards way and shows just how unfit to lead Michael really is.

Thank you for this. I hope you continue to enjoy as the story grows.

It was fun writing that scene and just letting Ethan go off on Michael who could only growl in response. Ethan is not going to back down to a bully. Thank you for your support and wonderful compliment.

The sheriff conducted two more interviews that afternoon as he sought answers to what happened on Pine Creek Bridge. He spoke with Kevin for over an hour who said essentially the same thing he heard from Connor. The sheriff listened patiently as the teen described how, even though they knew the attack on Ethan was wrong and in direct violation of their leader’s orders, he and his friends were more afraid of Michael than they were the alpha. Like Connor, Kevin said he was told if he did not go al
