I thought I was going a little overboard on this group of events, but was surprised at how much people enjoyed lycan politics. You describe it well between conservative and liberal within the wolf system. While they do discuss the 'Elemental Problem', they realize there are greater issues that take priority.

Thank you, Al. The fight scene was a lot of fun for me. As for people not taking notice of his markings, they were likely focused on the fight instead of the details.

The character sheet kept building, I had a couple year break between chapter 7 and 8. I knew the plot points I wanted to get to. While I envisioned about 15 chapters total for the story, I was probably at around that or maybe 20 when I started posting it to GA. I did eventually hit all the points I wanted, but it took longer to get there. This was a post as you go book. Everything since then has been completed before the first chapter went public.

Aiden is well liked and respected by the pack, so he'd have a great deal of support from more than just the four, well, five if you put Ethan in the group.

"I didn't expect," are some of my favorite words to see or hear. The code was going to be the computer password and I'd posted it before I'd worked this part out. Trying to figure something a little less obvious, it was just dumb luck when I tried bring things up on a map using it that I ran across that lonely house beside railroad tracks in Lunar, Ontario and Wolf Lake Road.

A great conclusion to a fun book. CJ didn't even get into any mischief int his chapter. These short stories covering a week or weekend are a nice edition to the longer books.

At the start, he wasn't going to be developed. But, even the baddies become characters I like, so they need to be given a little more depth to see where they go.

This is basically the same response I gave in the last chapter's comments. Surveillance would have identified who Aiden was and where he lived. A human reportedly mated to a wolf would lead to the possibility the human could have been turned. Knowing the human was Aiden's mate, the logical conclusion would be the person living with Aiden is the target, human or lycan. Surname could also be meaningless at that point since it would again be the person living there. As far as what to do with the kidnap subject, age really wouldn't be a factor beyond the price they could get. Ethan was 18 and strong. As a human he'd only be worth what ransom they could get, had the abduction been a success. A forced turning, had he been human and able to be turned by anyone, would have made him a possible commodity on the shapeshifter black market. You do bring up excellent points though and it makes me smile when a reader challenges things this well. Thank you, Al

Ethan was human, or believed to be, when Michael left. He identified Ethan as Aiden's pet, whore, and likely other names. Any surveillance of Aiden would made figuring out who Ethan was quite easy. The small guy beside the tall, sexy one, being guarded by the gigantic redhead.

Considering he doesn't know Darius is working for the pack, or that anyone there can identify a solaris he would have no reason to purposely avoid anyone, other than when he's doing covert recon. And for that, you generally don't want to be seen anyways.

Why write him to have one, when four is better? An instruction book would come in handy for Ethan about now.
