Thank you, Mikedup. Happy New Year. The missing beta would have stayed missing if he hadn't finally decided to cooperate with my imagination. Some of these characters can be such divas when I want to write.

Thank you, scrubber. Life is definitely good. There were rumors Trevor got tied up and was being held captive in Oz by a group of 20 or so ravenous bottom boys from the club he'd gone to. At least that's what his friends were writing on bathroom walls. He was either rescued or escaped their clutches and make his triumphant return to start this new book.

Thank you, Darryl. Sadly there are too many who understand that feeling. Hopefully they are lucky enough to find someone who makes it fade.

“Yo, Trev!” A voice from across the quad caught Trevor Carlson’s attention. “Wait up.” “Hey, Jayson.” He bumped fists with the muscle-bound blond. “Let me guess. Since I’m back in class, you’re hoping to score my notes from the lecture again.” “Well, yeah.” Jayson Salvaggi guiltily looked to the ground. “Where the hell did you disappear to after winter break? No one’s seen or heard from you in over two months. One day you were in class, and then nothing. Some people thought you droppe

Trevor Carlson is making his way through graduate school. He’s the best friend and beta to the most powerful wolves known to exist. Rather than be swallowed by the shadows of his friend’s success, Trevor’s shown time and again he’s a confident and powerful force who can stand on his own. A summer internship working at his friends pack in California broadens his horizons and reminds him not all education takes place in the classroom. Thank you to Carlos Hazday for his tireless work as editor and pushing me through writers block to make this story what it is.

I like this chapter more every time I read it. Tess is a fun woman. Meeting the SecNav is right up CJ's alley. The best part for me has to be his conversation with Jennifer. He lays out his case to counter her arguments well. Every time he calls her Jen, I still see Becket from Star Trek: Lower Decks saying, "Whatever, Jen."

This chapter is so CJ. And what's would any of them have to worry about with a little piracy? After all, there is a CIA agent on the boat with them.
-
I enjoyed this just as much as the first time I read it. CJ is a celebrity magnet, but also gets the occasional unwanted attention. I liked the way he handled it though.

Great start and refresher. -
Fixed. I know there's still little mistakes like this after multiple edits. Thanks for catching it.

Thank you, Darryl! What listing was this #1 in? I wasn't aware of it.

December Signature Feature: Melvyn Ford by Carlos Hazday
WolfM commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
This story being featured is well deserved. Congratulations, @Carlos Hazday. I'd never try to get you to edit faster since that leads to mistakes being missed. I am biased all the same and freely admit it.- 7 comments

Short, to the point, and a nice setup for future books. This is just right for ending a fantastic vacation where we got to spend time with each member of the family. Well done!
-
It's great spending the day with Lucy. She is most definitely a match for the men in the family. Another wonderful chapter.

Simple, elegant, and fun. A wonderful night out. Everyone gets hit on, so there should be no jealousy of any feeling left out. And as always, someone knows CJ. Great chapter.

A possible new winery, another house, a wing at the National Zoo, just another day in the life of CJ and Ozzie. Fun chapter and a nice birthday for our favorite Aussie. I'm sure I've said it before, but even though their fictional, you make characters we care about.

Planes, trains, and automobiles, plus a sailboat, How could it get any better. I guess when you have these characters it does. Great chapter and more wonderful sightseeing, even if CJ got shot down on visiting another church.

I'm looking forward to going back and showing my husband Sydney.

What a great day for Cesar and the entire family. Their vacation gets better and better. Not surprised we find out CJ and Owen had become free clothes whores prior to his election. lol

I love how multi-faceted Brett is: big kid, proud papa, grandfather, kind-hearted, but not to be messed with, and so much more. Great chapter as their adventure continues. Somehow I had missed stories from @Mawgrim, but they're on my to read list now.

Great chapter. As fun as it is to have the kids around, it's very enjoyable to have a conversation with the adults and Brett. Nice time all around as the family catches up.

People still eat eggs? I guess poached with spinach and bacon as a rare treat if we to go brunch. Not sure I have a favorite, because there's so many. @Parker Owens has a couple I can identify with, while @Carlos Hazday(nothing biased here) and the CJ series lets my mind travel the way his characters do. A friend and fellow writer from another site who's no longer with us It would likely be a series starting: Chaos, Damage Control, In Search of, and the current Finding Balance. Great chapter. A tantrum is gonna happen sometimes, but I wish more parents would discipline their children in some form like what CJ and Owen do. The boat sounds incredible and would be a dream vacation.
