    Thanks, Sam. I'm glad you see that in my writing. I wanted to portray the beautiful side of life in spite of all the angst that may overshadow it. Either through Knight's eyes or Kendra's or all the other characters in their small town. Thanks for the reviews in the eFiction section, by the way.     Thanks for reading, Kevin. And yes, I suppose it is a little bittersweet. Even remembering good times can make me sad because I know I'd never feel that way again, or experience the same things I did back then. It's hard to describe. It's like losing a part of yourself and not being able to get it back. But it does pass, and then there's the future to look forward to.
