  1. Oh dear! They even steal newspapers and knock down each other's trash can when upset. Lol. I didn't know about babies through the boolprop cheat but now I may have to try that out. And wow, more diseases in Sims 3...might be depressing though. I mean, it's bad enough as it is with the flu or I think it was pneumonia. One of my sims had it in my old hood and nearly EVERYONE got infected. I think around 3 or 4 of them died! As for Sim STDS hmm...that'll teach the Romance Sims. Perhaps with an added Fear: 'Get STD'. Right now the only consequence they'd have to face is unexpected pregnancy which they eventually accept. Part of me wishes they'd be miserable about it. Yeah, I know, I'm a sadist. Bad me!
  2. Yep, way better than real life drama! And wow, you should start building your sims a graveyard soon. They do seem to die easily, don't they? I created a teen sim with a single parent once and just a few minutes after moving them in, a satellite fell on him while he was out cloud watching! Lol. Also, they tend to die of starvation after having too much 'woohoo'.
  3. LOL! That's a funny strip, W.L. Hehe, I bet our sims curse us every single day for putting them through all that. And you're not the only one ArpeGGio, I tend to spend more time on the Sims 2 than I do sleeping. Well, okay, not true (at least not this week anyways). I do have days when I can play for hours on end though and it's quite fun when there's nothing else to do. I like creating storylines for my hood and pretend something big's going on. I created a hospital recently and made the 'chief of staff' sim set his employees' uniforms to blue scrubs. Very Grey's Anatomy. One woman quit so she's a desperate housewife now and her husband's been getting wants to flirt with the neighbors. Oh, the drama!
  4. Oh coolies, I play the Sims 2 as well! I was so looking forward to the Sims 3 only to discover that it got postponed. Now we all have to wait until summer! Waa! I didn't know about the 'lesbians by default' for female sims but I've heard of hacks that can allow the player to choose their character's sexual preference. Actually, I've not only heard of it, I use that mod! Hehe. But even without add-ons, I think the game's pretty fair when it comes to equality. Heterosexual sims can get married and homosexual sims can have joint unions. So they have different names but still, they get to the same things (straight, gay or bisexual). I even made a gay couple adopt in my game. And oooh, have you downloaded that mod that can get males pregnant and lesbians to have babies together? (Yeah, yeah, I'm a Sims 2 geek...)
  5. That's it! She's Pikachu. "Pika! Pika!"
  6. No wonder he's cranky!
  7. Bristol reminds me of an animated film character, I just don't know which one.
  8. You mean like a Boyfriend Sundae? Always wanted to try one of those.
  9. Hehe. "Strawberry Earthquake" I haven't actually heard any of these, they sound like candy to me or fruity drinks. Lol. I don't know, don't people usually just refer to it as, well...'it'? Speaking from experience? Lol.
  10. I love this. It's called Our Song by Taylor Swift.
  11. Oh cool, I like naming stuff! Here are a few I've thought of that you could probably use if you like 'em. CLUBS/BARS: Rainbow Lounge Beat B&B (Boy and Boy NOT Bed and Breakfast ) Hot Pink BANDS: Riding Broomsticks Bent Boys R' Us Brian Kinney's Lil Bitches That's all I could come up with. Lol.
  12. Happy New Year!
  13. Merry Christmas, everybody!
  14. I will definitely be praying for him. Hope you get better soon, Jovian. *hugs* -Boy in Doubt
  15. Happy Birthday, Benji!
  16. Happy Birthday, Tiger! Rrrrowr!
  17. Woo! Happy anniversary!
  18. Is "Womanizer" the single from the "Circus" album? I don't know much about her latest but I like "Gimme More" and "Piece of Me" and a few of her older songs. The third album of hers I think was the best. There are people who tend to avoid pop music these days (either 'cause of the artist's lifestyle or just 'cause they don't think it's mature enough) but whatever. If it sounds good to me then I'm gonna listen to it. So yeah, I might give Circus a try. Won't buy it just yet but will definitely listen to the singles.
  19. Happy Birthday Sat8997! And that's a pretty pic, Kanaye.
  20. I think the blue rose is pretty.
  21. Well it is rather creepy Zapp.
  22. I hate it when... Time flies when you're having fun. 'Cause, hello, when you're having fun you don't want it to end!
  23. Oh yes, I agree with Shelter. I've seen it and it's a really good movie.
  24. Oooh, evil author. I'm intrigued. As for my avatar, well, it's actually from a banner I made for my story "Walker's Path". Just added the words 'Boy in Doubt' to personalize it. Lol. What a way to point out the obvious huh?
  25. It must be frustrating being set up by your aunt. I mean, it's sweet, but like you said you're not straight so having them introduce you to a girl and expect sparks to fly--must seem as though there's a lot of pressure put on you. They may keep doing that if you don't tell them. Of course, you don't have to, that's your choice. It's just that, people have expectations and it can be hard when they don't know your preference. They'd be like "Do you have a girlfriend?" and everything and when you say no there's this awkward silence. I hate when that happens. I think the GLBT group is a good idea (kinda like this site). That way you can discuss things with people you'd otherwise not talk about with others due to reasons you've already stated. Being part of a group of people who've gone through experiences similar to yours despite different backgrounds helps, I think. As for health problems, perhaps you could make some lifestyle changes (workout, diet, etc.). I'm sorry if I sound all preach-y--God knows I myself consume more junk than anyone on this planet--but yeah, it would help to spend some time engaging in activities that could improve your health. Being happy in general can do that as well. And a boyfriend would be great, a boyfriend could make you happy, but you don't need one to be happy. Of course, if you do come across a potential 'someone' then that can be wonderful. Like, someone who wants children as much as you do and basically looking for the same thing. I'm not saying you should date a carbon copy of yourself, just that, it'd be good to find someone who's walking down the same path as you. Anyways, I wish you all the best and hope you find what you're looking for in life.
