Nah, being a wisconsinite, that's my job. ....., that reminds me, did you know? Being a native resident from wisconsin actually bans you from almost all "professional" drinking competitions? I found that out when my brother and I were exchange students in Europe one year.

Now that sounds like a blast πππ as long as there is some left for midnight.

I don't think @astone2292 gets a choice in this one since I'm building ya both dog houses for when ya hit the heart strings bad ...... or make me spill my coffee. He counts as captive audience and must endure our antics

Black cat riesling it is πππ give me 2 weeks and I'll have homemade strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

Heck to the yeah, I'll even bring the wine and ice cream. If he's a good boy I guess I won't object to Aaron showing up. πππ I swear I'm not a documentary junkie, not at all. If you're up for a good laugh i just finished a 5 part conspiracy theory that boiled down to the claim that Bigfoot is an alien race and they are what early humans thought were god. The lead "scientist" in the mini series was a very animated riot that put the big haired dude from ancient aliens to shame.

I think it was more than just that region though. The flood myth is even common in South American lore. Well then again, most of the south American myths were traced back to the central American region, so if it was a massive tsunami type event triggered by the mid Atlantic rift, it could generate large enough waves to reach all the way through the Mediterranean to the black sea, and wash across the America's to splash into the pacific. Yay for now being in research mode. Anyone know where I can find a solid tutor on plate tectonics?

Total fun fact about your opening. I honestly think world wide flooding happened at a point in history. Most (I could be remembering wrong, but I think it's all but 3 or 4) ancient cultures have a world flood survival story. I read an anthropological article a few weeks ago, the author claimed that the floods could all be dated to the same time period. I'll try to find the article and forward it if anyone is interested. I find it funny, although the author didn't mention it, that he had all the floods dated (including Noah's) to the same dates as the supposed Atlantis destruction.

Very adorable and loving. Definitely a conversation starter that's for sure.

Well that was vile and romantical. I swear you enjoy bouncing between making me spit coffee and making me emotional.

All is well and good with the story so far, except for now I'm missing Kage horribly. So now I'm sitting here terrified that Asa is gonna work himself to death ππ a wonderful happy chapter, so many things washed under a bridge of acceptance. Such a subtle pull of older heart strings, so evil of you πππ

It's a wisconsin thing I guess. My grandma's house was like that until the day she passed. Last time I went apartment hunting easily 3/4 had carpet in the bathroom and 1/2 had it in the kitchen. So much cleaning ππππ

One of these days I'll be able to own a home and have my wooden floors. Anything would beat my apartment right now. For some messed up reason I have carpet in the bathroom AND the kitchen, and then the living room is some plastic floor crud. πππππππππ

Definitely wooden. Vinyl floors just don't smell right. That and ya can't sand and refinish vinyl if ya wanna change the feel of the room a little bit.

Not gonna lie, I hope Corbin changes his mind and goes with to Montana, or the twins decide to go to Texas afterwards. My heart strings so need closure on that one. The changes from the mating were a beautiful touch. I guess I can forgive you and let you pick the carpet for your dog house. All serious though, beautiful soft climax, and great job at keeping the tension going while we wait for the next chapter

I really need to learn to listen when you tell me to put my coffee down. At least this time I don't need to clean my phone, just my keyboard ...

Such an adorable piece of art. An impressive sociological story. It never fails, I think you will never write anything better than your last piece but then you hit things out of the park. I'm beginning to think your creativity knows no bounds.

Ya know, you've worked customer service long enough to know you don't say things like that. "I'm gonna enjoy my day off" "I'm gonna get a good night's sleep" "man this is a slow day" ... are all things that you should never say or write ..... I'm so glad the same doesn't go for theater, break a leg young man ππΈπ€£

Such an evil artist ππ just for that I'm putting 70's orange shag in your dog house. But all serious, that was one of the most beautiful shorts I've read in a long time. The perfect blend of light and fun.

Born Into Punishment
RainbowPhoenixWI commented on astone2292's story chapter in Born Into Punishment
Man, either I'm in a mood or all you artists have decided to get together for an attack on heart strings. *insert mock angry face here* y'all keep this up and I'm doubling my efforts on building dog houses πππ- 46 comments

Gahl darn cotton flippin heart strings. All these emotions you done pulled up. You're lucky I love your art. You pull out a fiddle bow next time you start playing with the strings, and I'm so gonna pretend to be mad at you.

I love how you tied all the characters back together again. I also love how you described the underground, and the way you described where things are. If I didn't know better I would swear you were from Havre.
