  1. Poor Artie! Must be so hard to concentrate with Scotty in the room! I guess the plan worked a little too well? Scotty seems to be attempting to hold on to his crush for Tristan, at least for now. Can't say that I blame him, though. He clearly doesn't want to be "disloyal" to Tristan.
  2. Doing well, thanks. We had takeout from Don's Drive-In.
  3. Glad to hear it, Albert!
  4. Hey, Bertie. How are you and Steve? Spotted a snowy owl on my way to work today. Hey, Gary.
  5. @Comicality Hehehe, Benicio is so different now! It's crazy how much a person can change in just a few years!
  6. I'm surprised @Drew Espinosa isn't celebrating with some indiscriminate nuking.
  7. Hey, Gary. How's Falkor?
  8. Nolen first found a love of dance and theater when he was all of four years old, after his parents took him to see a production of Billy Elliot: The Musical at the Stratford Festival in Ontario. It was then, he knew, one day he would be performing on that same stage. And so four-year-old Nolen began taking dance classes at the Caulfield School of Dance in his hometown of Port Moody. Since then, he transferred to Pulse Dance Centre in Port Coquitlam, where he's been training for 20 hours a week! In his first performance, Nolen was cast as Michael Banks in Theatre Under the Stars' production of Mary Poppins in Vancouver. His performance earned him a Joey Award and a nomination for an Ovation Award, amid critical acclaims of success. He then played Chip in Beauty and the Beast (Dec. '17-Jan. '18) and John Bechdel in Fun Home (Feb.-Mar. 2018) at the Arts Club Theatre in Vancouver. Finally, his big break in 2018: He performed in Billy Elliot: The Musical, at the Stratford Festival, just like he'd always dreamed. In addition to his roles on the stage, he has also appeared on the big screen, in Good Boys (2019), Taking a Shot at Love (2020), and The Christmas Waltz (2020). He's an incredible dancer, and a talented actor. His spirit is the perfect embodiment of Billy Elliot. Personally, I think he needs to star in his own movie!
  9. OH! And we're at 500 replies now, so here's a new video by Johnny Orlando to mark the occasion!
  10. @Comicality I knew Finn Wolfhard was a great singer, but who knew all of the boys were so talented?
  11. Actually, the Steam website has, like, a whole PILE of games created for and by the LGBTQ community. They have almost 700 games with LGBTQ characters! From what I've seen, though, most of those games aren't on the same level as this one.
  12. Cows eat grass, which is a plant. Therefore, hamburgers are veggies.
  13. Thursday, April 1st: 25F/-4C, with ice and biting winds. Monday, April 5th: 75F/24C, bright and sunny. On my way home from work, people were actually lounging on the beach (socially distanced, of course).
  14. Hehehehe....Just a little news update. The DLC for Step 3 will be released on April 16th! Don't wanna give away too much, but there's some new artwork, five new scenarios or "Moments" to play, and the story will now include options for employment status, if the player chooses to have a job. Step 4 will be released in Fall 2021. Guess we gotta be patient for a while longer!
  15. This little dude certainly polished up his skills!
  16. This guy deserves more fame!
  17. Deirdre brought the boys over for a brunch. I haven't seen the in-laws for a while. Hugging my lil nephews was the best part of this Easter.
  18. Happy Easter, everybody.
  19. Hey, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches for Thistle* Hey, Albert.
  20. Happy Good Friday, everyone. @dughlas Perhaps Avraham Aviv Alush will provide us with fishes and loaves.
  21. In elementary school, I remember someone had the brilliant idea to invite a bagpipe player to perform in front of the whole student body. I remember reading a historical novel in which a young lady says "Ah, no! A proper Scotsman wouldnae play the pipes indoors, for 'twould grate terribly 'gainst the ceiling!" I tried to point that out to the teacher, but was told simply to "Shut up." I'm certain that the experience of listening to 30 minutes of bagpipe-playing in a gymnasium made of cinderblocks with heavy metal roof beams is what lead to my partial hearing loss.
