The town of Jim Thorpe doesn't look Swiss to me. But it is gorgeous, and well worth the visit. If I didn't love where I live now so much, I could love living there! The Inn at Jim Thorpe really is supposed to be haunted. But I hadn't heard that about the Harry Packer mansion being haunted. The mansion of Harry's father, Asa Packer, is, however, the one I based the mansion in this story upon.

I have friends that went to Carlisle. They're the ones that initially told me about the town of Jim Thorpe, and said it was worth the drive to see it. It was.
