I have been accused more than once of making the guy's enemies into friends. But that's too easy!

You know, when I stepped into this corner to paint the floor, I never imagined this would happen!

Wow. Just when I was thinking the silt was settling and the water becoming more clear, we get this chapter. Some great things happened here. A show of support at school is a wonderful thing. The killer being a student is a good bet. Or, someone at the school, anyway. Killian can't remember everything, and forgetting about Jake was unfortunate. But the moment with Jake after the assembly was revealing. There seems to be a temper that runs in that family that needs to be considered. Anger issues! But the water seems cloudier than before, somehow! Hmm. More to consider. Let me come back tomorrow and read the next chapter before I reveal to everyone who the killer is! I'm kidding, guys. I have a short list of suspects, but no real idea who I am looking for yet!

It's one thing to say the popper is like Auggie, but that only helps so much, because very little is still known about Auggie. No one has ever even considered getting rid of Auggie, right? Plans have to change as the story develops. Once they understood this wasn't a normal race of beings, the solution could no longer be so normal, either. The best thing they could do would be to hire the popper and let him manage the pizza stand on Engris. but, somehow, I don't think that will happen.

These guys have a Way Back machine. That's what got them into this thing in the first place!

Reinforcements with pop corn, too! Looks like the next chapter won't be available until Saturday. Sorry. I'm already behind on the Christmas story!

A shame. We could have been enjoying them for years! I just can't keep up with the flood of them. I'll get to them, eventually!

My only question would be, where on earth do you get the time and energy to write so fast!

I know exactly how you feel. The world has its ups and downs. It's definitely heading down right now. I have posted chapter 7. The next chapter, also possibly the last one, probably won't show up until the weekend. I'll try to get it here a.s.a.p.

I also believe that when a story's cast list gets too large, no one gets enough exposure. But sometimes, events just carry the darn things away!
