Uhh...I guess an author, if he or she writes enough, is bound to steal from their own work without even knowing it. I was unaware of the parallel to Short Prince when I wrote this segment for this story. In fact, I'm still kind of unaware, even now. In SP, the magickons came through a warp between parallel universes because the core of a sun in each universe was located in concurrent space. Here, I just mean that the Earth's magnetic field stirs the sun's solar winds into patterns that skwish entities find attractive, causing them to visit the planet out of curiosity. Sort of like high-energy candy for trick-or-treaters! It was Will's grandfather that Rip knew. He is not still alive. I hate to break it to you, but this story is not completed yet. I fell behind due to my workload at the office, and I have 7 chapters completed. I almost never post a tale before it's completed, but the deadline was Halloween, you know? I may have chapter 8 done in time to keep posting without a break, or, I may not. I won't know until then how many chapters there will be in total. I'm sorry.
