I have a rather immense collection of science fiction and fantasy, which began with books from my dad when I was 11, and which has been added to by me for the last 40-some years. As was spoken of Ebenezers Scrooges' chain he has forged in life, it is a ponderous thing now!

Browbeat loves to have fun, and fun is pretty much anything he's doing. But he understands serious, too, as we'll find out.

Plus a few new characters. I have to admit, Charlie's telephone book is getting FAT!

The BOO factor is important to any Halloween tale. I always prefer eerie and creepy and moody to outright 'jump' scares; but we'll see what happens here.

Having a chance to escape from the real world for a while is a valuable commodity these days. I get the same thing while writing these stories. A chance to turn off the noise of the world for a few hours in a row, and spend some time with people I like. 'Does a body good', as the old saying goes. I enjoy having all of you share these times and these tales. Thanks!

Actually, it was Rick's cousin with the octagon house and the piano. One of my own favorite Halloween stories.

I kind of let the other holidays slide, because I had other things I wanted to write. But it wouldn't seem like Halloween or Christmas to me without the guys! 👻

Thanks! I have always enjoyed the imagination part, myself. You will see old faces, and some new ones in this tale. I do believe this story will be self-contained, but that the plot itself will not be over. Material for future tales! Christmas will be something different.
