I do believe I see one of your interesting, twisty roads ahead! A supernatural aspect thrown in at the start is a good way to grab my attention. I think this one is going to be different!

I didn't grow up on a farm, but I have lived close enough to a few to inhale the aroma of the four-legged inhabitants!

Pleased to see you at the party, CG! We all have memories of Christmas, many like your own. It's one of the foundation blocks of the holiday, that memories are forged and stored away to be cherished for a lifetime. Yours sound very much like keepers! 😁

Uh...all I can say is, don't get your hopes up for a Valentine's Day story. I have a folder with several unfinished stories in it I want to tackle before doing another Charlie Boone. Holy ravioli! I done fergetted Unka Fred and Auntie Clair! And Uncle Bob's wife, Susan! Geez. I can see now I'm going to have to take some time at some point and start at the first story, and read the series through again. I've misplaced too much stuff!

Nah. It was probably something you ate!

Until the day the world is a better place to live in, the worlds of our imaginations will have to do! Happy New Year to you, too!

How the characters in a story are written is important, but it's the reader's imaginations that give them life! Thanks for the kind words!

Christmas should always be a reminder of the people in our lives, magical or not. Happy you had a good time with the guys!

Kip does like Valentine's Day, but he hasn't been able to persuade me to write a story for that date for a couple of years now. It's a question of time. I'm just not ready to take on ANOTHER holiday deadline just now! But happy you enjoyed this one!

Man, I LOVE the way you think!

Oh, that's easy! Last Christmas, Robin's castle was 799 years old. THIS year, it's 800 years old! Uh, well, you got me. I honestly don't have time to go back and read every single story that came before a new one, and my notes are sometimes not as complete as I'd like them. I have actually considered writing to you in private and asking you about previous events, but figured that would make my writing life too easy. I should do some of the work! 😁 Happy you liked the story. Rather than an adventure this time, it was more about the guys realizing they had changed (I hated that word, matured!), and were on their way now to better things. I mean, if you're going to live in a world of magic, go hard! '

Actually, I really have a soft spot for good, dark chocolate, but it doesn't belong on a pizza! A four-foot pizza with all the good toppings will feed six Trichani and four Moth, IF you can get them to sit down together!

Or, much more difficult!

Uncle Ken! I WONDERED where you'd got to! You have to stop teleporting away from family reunions like that! Nicholaas has a not-for-profit business, as you well know!

You've obviously never visited any of New York City's more outré pizza joints. There you can get ravioli on your pizza, or calamari , or tuna, or buffalo chicken, or tater tots. Sushi, mac and cheese, sliced hot dogs, guacamole, Brussels sprouts, hazelnuts, cashew cream, bananas; even toppings that are tiny slices of a different kind of pizza! Not to mention some very strange cheeses, herbs, and seasonings. One place specializes in toppings that are melted chocolates and marshmallows. And there's a place in Yonkers that makes 4-foot pizzas, where each slice is two-feet long! I love pizza, but I will not eat calamari and marshmallows as toppings!

The guy's parents had visited the new house earlier - it was mentioned in the story that the boy's families had seen the house shortly after it had been inspected. They were included in the plans, and had full knowledge. So they had been there, and they did know about it. The only secrets concerned the guy's abilities and the sorts of friends they had. I'm not an anchovy guy, either. But Sporza - that stuff is awesome! 😁

Thank you. I have to wonder how many families have little legends built-in that they simply don't mention because they feel no one would believe them. There are some extraordinary people on this planet!

Chapter 6
Geron Kees posted new chapter in There's A Strange Partridge in My Pear Tree, Charlie Boone!
Kippy sighed tiredly, and Charlie put an arm around his boyfriend. "That sounded a little wistful, Kip." They were sitting alone for the moment in the villa's meeting room, gazing out at the city and the crowded pirate market beyond. The city of a thousands suns, as Charlie sometimes thought of it. Kip nuzzled Charlie's cheek with his nose. "Oh...it's not. Or, maybe it is, just a little. I was just remembering when I was young, how I'd count down the days to Christmas. Each day was spe- 40 comments

At some point the original Lugh may need to some forward. To reclaim his painting in the attic!

As far as I remember, Mike is the only one to go to Kifta homeworld. So far!

Andromedans are all front and no back. You have to be careful what you say to their faces!
-
You may be prescient! But, of course, I can't say without possibly giving away a future tale! You are right, that Ragal came from a ring.
-
Especially if that toilet is in the Andromeda Galaxy!

Probably not as hard as you think. Just take one reality, open the door, and push it through into the other one!
