    Chapter 1

I think if you've ever seen lords-a-leaping, you will note that they are quite unconcerned about where they land!
  2. Geron Kees

    Chapter 1

You will actually not find ANY partridges OR pear trees in this story. The title was a bit of whimsy, actually.
  3. Charlie Boone stepped back and put his arm around his boyfriend, Kippy Lawson, as the two stood and gazed at their new home. The house had remained much as Mildred had requested Lugh make it, save that the boys had added three-story turrets to the front corners of the house, giving it a true Queen Anne-style look. One turret had a conical roof, while the other had an octagonal roof, with the long, covered front porch now running between them. A couple of tall period chimneys to complete the roof
  4. Charlie, Kip, Rick, and Adrian are set to spend their first Christmas in their new home. But nothing before now has quite prepared them for living in a magical world full-time. They’re about to find out how different that can really be!

    Chapter 4

About as unusual a tale as I have read lately! Thanks for sharing it with us!
  6. Geron Kees

    Chapter 3

Very unusual tale. Some commentary on another reality, too, perhaps? 😁

    Chapter 2

Gee, I wonder what the class reunion will be like down the line?
  8. Geron Kees

    Chapter 1

    Interesting beginning! 😁

    Chapter 30

FIVE times! Heck, I WROTE the darn thing, and I only read it FOUR times!

    Chapter 29

You just can't help yourself, can you?
  11. Geron Kees

    Chapter 29

    I can't say!
  12. Geron Kees

    Chapter 1

For a man of few words, you certainly have been getting some good ones into print! Another winner!
  13. Geron Kees

    Chapter 28

You are getting close to the end. I hope you've enjoyed the journey!
  14. Geron Kees

    Chapter 8

A little of both, I would predict!
  15. Geron Kees

    Chapter 8

    Ah. I ain't sayin' nuthin'!

    Chapter 8

That sounds pretty positive, actually. I have long read that Moscow was not representative of all of Russia, and was a unique high point. I tend not to want to judge places I have never seen, though. I do love Amsterdam, and the parts of western Europe I have visited, and feel the public transportation system the Dutch have in place there is quite easy to get along with, as are most aspects of life. Politics can tarnish even a decent place to live, if they are of the sort one would rather not experience. When it comes time for you to retire, I hope you can do that in a place that's comfortable and welcoming. I'm sure you'd prefer that to be where you are now. But, only time will tell.

    Chapter 8

Like I say, a fairly large block!

    Chapter 8

You are likely the first reader from Moscow I have encountered. It doesn't sound as if it's easy to be living there. Given the cyclic nature of repression, perhaps you have reason to hope that it will ebb and things will get better. This country has endured similar cycles, though without quite the vehemence displayed there. I wish you luck, and hope things go well for you. It's always nice to read your comments, and I enjoy your participation in the stories. But I hope you are being safe in doing what you are doing. I do believe that if Charlie and Kip need to know about that part of the world, they will be asking you, through me!
  19. A brief reminder that Christmas is many things, to many people, but that most of us can agree that the season is about people, and caring for others. This little tale has feel-good in heaps. I do believe I just heard a bell ring, as some angel got his wings!

    Chapter 1

I have to agree with the Doc, this was a nice reminder of what this season is all about. Thanks for brightening the day!

    Chapter 8

Most of us have been around the block a little bit. Yours seems a very big block, however!
  22. Geron Kees

    Chapter 8

True. I am also commercial-free, and don't charge monthly rates!
  23. Geron Kees

    Chapter 8

Yeah, but YOU make my head spin, with your ideas! Crossovers can be interesting, but for now, I have enough of a time keeping up with the individual story lines!

    Chapter 8

Ah, if only I were the double of some king! Which Elphberg are you? Now that Third Planet Inquiries is rolling, I see no reason why the guys cannot get a job inquiry from anywhere on the earth. I'll have to consider where they might go from here. Some lands and some languages are tough to deal with. I had enough of a time getting the meaning of some Nederlands phrases across to English-speaking readers in the Mooi series, and I am at least familiar with both of those languages. Writing believably about foreign lands that actually exist requires some careful research for accuracy. But we'll see if Charlie and company cannot visit a few other places in their quest for why things are the way they are!

    Chapter 8

They also went to Switzerland in Elementary, My Dear Charlie Boone! And to an 'undisclosed location, somewhere near the North Pole' when they visit the elves. Not to mention a host of other planets, realities, and even a few side dimensions. Ik laat het aan de toekomst over om andere plaatsen te bezoeken, waarvan sommige voor sommigen meer bekend zijn dan andere! 😄
