I don't know that there IS a female version of the name 'Geron'.
My dad chose it, liking the sound of it. Or, what he thought was the sound of it. Gare-run. Which is how my family and friends pronounce it.
The Germans pronounce, it Herr-run, almost like the bird, Heron.
The Dutch pronounce it with that little bitty choking sound at the start, back in the throat, that makes it sound like HKeron.
In the US, I have had to contend my whole life with people reading my name and pronouncing it Jerron.
So, once I was an adult, I decided to do business under my two middle names, and always have since, which avoids constantly explaining pronunciations.
