Yes ... though many people put that sort thing out there without any thought to what might happen to it. Stuart's search has only narrowed; he's still got some way before he discovers Geoff's address. Poor Geoff is back to being anxious and socially insecure again. Hopefully it's only temporary.

@Timothy M. I wonder how much the news cycle is to blame in this? The topics you mention probably made it to the mainstream news for 24-48 hours at the most. They soon get lost in the welter of other (possibly more relevant) stuff.

I agree with this. Even people who take a reasonable notice of current affairs could easily be very largely ignorant of gay affairs, especially historical matters. They're not homophobic; more, they need to educate themselves.

'Dogged' is a word I would use to describe Eric. That's good, but it also meant that his narrow focus led to an equally narrow life. Just that one phone call changed everything.

Yes ... that's an interesting thought. Certainly I think, he has inner strength. To live on your own takes that. His self-confidence is growing but from a pretty low base.

Yes, but he's not used to spending much time on it. What he misses, I think, is those everyday jobs and chores which come from being in his own home. I imagine there are plenty of people still in that position. Just because there's stuff out there, it doesn't mean the right people view / read it.

Chapter 7 Brian Metcalfe lay slumped on the sofa; the TV was on, but with the sound turned down. It's all @Timothy M.'s fault, not mine. Both my longer stories have themes of gardening, so Tim was suggesting you as another source of info. Don't worry, between us, Parker and I cover most things horticultural.

Particularly as his tomatoes demonstrate him to be a good gardener. As @Parker Owens said, there's plenty of information out there, but only some of it's useful.
