Did I miss something about Cade? Was there another story he was in? If so I missed it. All I remember reading was that Jesse mentioning that he wanted to introduce Cade to him and then going on a date. I kinda hope Mitch works out but at the same time that he ends up with Jesse who admired his mutual love/crush to Brad. Talk about missed connections and bad timing. That being said I thought it was kind of odd that Brad and Mitch's first date was meeting Brad's mother. Was it because Brad wanted it in a "safe space" or on his own territory to protect himself after the disastrous blind date? It seemed like their encounter was short lived at the bar. Hopefully his time with Mitch will give Brad some confidence and experience. Also did Brad take time off before he started college/university? Because at 21 is the age most people who started right out of high school gained their bachelors. That being said I have enjoyed this story.

I wasn't clear either. But I assume that it was that Don was able to start walking? I loved this story and it's ending. However I'm still a bit sad that it doesn't go on. I did appreciate the epilogue. Edit: Though I should clarify my sad remark. I said that because this is the type of story you want to go on and will miss the characters.

I find it interesting that Jack despite being pissed off at Cam for getting Janet pregnant was allowing Liz in the house. Sure he was accepting of their relationship but she was also complicit (even if it wasn't her idea she still went along with Janet's ideas) in the whole prom night shenanigans. But it was good of her to push Jack into meeting his grandson. It will be interesting to see how Jacob feels with his fathers acceptance of the grandchild. But maybe his reaction at graduation was just being a protective brother after finding that his sister was pregnant.

Is there any word on this story continuing? I read through chapter 14 on your website but nothing seems to have been update for years.

I agree with some of the sentiments mention. I have three questions. First if Tracy hasn't been in Fort Myers for over a year how was Jase able to drop off the dog at his house? It kind of insinuates he was too far away. Second, if family is only allowed in the ICU why was Jase allowed in? Third, why did Jase all of the sudden care about Corey and Benny if he was there for a while? Sounds like once Tracy showed up he wanted to get the hell out of there.

Long time reader, finally decided to register a month ago and now a first time commenter. Just saw the story and read what's been posted so far. I completely understand where David is coming from - he's been stressed out about his lack of work while trying to be a good partner. Mike is so absorbed in his work that he's frequently incommunicado and doesn't have time to return a phone call or text. I can guarantee you if he had a phone call, a text or message from his boss or clients he would get back to them ASAP. No reason why he couldn't text or make a brief call when he goes to the bathroom. Additionally his excuse of his battery dying during the day just doesn't cut it. I honestly think Mike may be having an affair. Why else would be so distant and not wanting David to attend work functions where ones spouse / partner or their boyfriend/girlfriend would almost be mandatory? Also, if David gets involved with Rain wonder how that might effect his job let a lone personal life? Rain is involved with Laleh who contacted David about the job and hired him (I'm not sure what her position is but must be above his new position) and if they get together while he's still dating her and she finds out shit will hit the fan. Granite, provided David doesn't fuck up at work she wouldn't be able to fire him solely for fucking her boyfriend - she would just make his life hell.
