Yeah they did and I got to see some of it. I'm gonna try this year to pay attention though. Not just Dallas either.

I woke up with a slight jump. That's not right. No, I woke up in a full-blown panic. My back spasmed as I bolted upright. You can't breathe. My lungs gasped for air struggling to control the rate of intake, I could feel my diaphragm straining in my midsection as it worked to fully expand and contract my lungs. Sweat dripped down my skin, I was soaked and didn't know why. Your chest hurts. I could feel my heart pumping hard, it was so bad it felt like both it and m

Funny thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was on Nifty, searching for another story that thankfully did get completed back in the day because I'm nostalgic and wanted to reread it, I used the search function to try to find it and the first result that came up was this exact story. I was like "no way." I actually ended up rereading my own story instead and realized it was better than what my mind had initially told me it was. And it was worthy to be continued. Yeah I'm going to try to not just 'disappear' again lmao. Time is finite so is our existence. I need to do this if nothing else to leave my mark on a few people that will remember me in some way I guess.

I honestly wish I could give a chapter count on what's planned I honestly don't know. I do know that in my time away I did miss my characters, and I did miss interacting with everyone here. All I can say is, when it does end all the threads will be closed and I'm hoping the ending will be satisfactory. The main character has a long road to go though, and it won't be an easy one.

Oh yeah lmao, so here's the story with that. All 3 stories are going on almost at the same time in the same city/area. That's why I've been vague on some details because I'm about to bring it all together. The events in Jacob's Advocate happened the year before Life In Suspension, and Salvaging the Road to Redemption, at the HS across town. Life in Suspension and Salvaging the Road to Redemption are happening at the same school, at the same time roughly, I just have to catch Ben's story up. I've got a big thing planned I'm just working on which story it's going to appear in. Oh and I'm putting together notes for Gavin's backstory that'll end up being its own story one of these years.

After Chapter 5, this one needed to be calm. I've got more drama in the pipe so I figured I'd give 'em a break and a setup to the next part.

    Chapter 11

Jeff Burton commented on Josh Aterovis's story chapter in Chapter 11

I do get where Asher is coming from. The fear is real, especially after a semi major physical altercation. I went through a few of these myself growing up so I know what it feels like. The thing about fear is though, if it you let it make you throw it all away like Asher is doing, it does more damage in the end. Hopefully at some point he learns to confront it better. My heart absolutely goes out to Killian. At that age I know I probably would have reacted the same way, except I probably would have attempted to run my dad over before I left if mine had been like Killian's. At least then he'd have a valid reason to be mad an hateful. Teach the bastard not to be in line with any bumpers on my car. Powerful chapter Josh.

The moderately wooded forest was quiet, except for the fire erupting within the 125cc 2-stoke engines in the belly of our bikes. Chris led the way, maneuvering his steed through the twists and turns of the trail we had gotten to know so well years ago. I followed behind, my own tires kicking up dust and rock in its wake just as he did. We were surrounded by trees, with finger-like branches that stretched to the sky gnarling at the sun. As we ducked in and out of the shadows, I could feel th

Yes lets do this. Now if I could just have that 25 year old body back that could bend over without needing an anti-inflammatory.

Aw, gotcha. I turn 43 towards the end of the month, I dunno if I'm at a second childhood yet. Maybe I should consider it.

Oooh I hope everything's okay? My sister in law just had surgery. She's home now but I'm doing the morning watch with her, while trying to pound out chapters to a couple diff stories.
  24. Jeff Burton
Hahahahahaha. Give it time I may end up being regarded the same way?

Hahahaha, thank you. I'm glad I found this place to be honest. Now I can see where most of the forum activity comes from. 😂
