    I woke up with a slight jump. That's not right. No, I woke up in a full-blown panic. My back spasmed as I bolted upright. You can't breathe.     Funny thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was on Nifty, searching for another story that thankfully did get completed back in the day because I'm nostalgic and wanted to reread it, I used the search function to try to find it and the first result that came up was this exact story. I was like "no way." I actually ended up rereading my own story instead and realized it was better than what my mind had initially told me it was. And it was worthy to be continued. Yeah I'm going to try to not just 'disappear' again lmao. Time is finite so is our existence. I need to do this if nothing else to leave my mark on a few people that will remember me in some way I guess.

    I honestly wish I could give a chapter count on what's planned I honestly don't know. I do know that in my time away I did miss my characters, and I did miss interacting with everyone here. All I can say is, when it does end all the threads will be closed and I'm hoping the ending will be satisfactory. The main character has a long road to go though, and it won't be an easy one.

    Oh yeah lmao, so here's the story with that. All 3 stories are going on almost at the same time in the same city/area. That's why I've been vague on some details because I'm about to bring it all together. The events in Jacob's Advocate happened the year before Life In Suspension, and Salvaging the Road to Redemption, at the HS across town. Life in Suspension and Salvaging the Road to Redemption are happening at the same school, at the same time roughly, I just have to catch Ben's story up. I've got a big thing planned I'm just working on which story it's going to appear in. Oh and I'm putting together notes for Gavin's backstory that'll end up being its own story one of these years.

    I do get where Asher is coming from. The fear is real, especially after a semi major physical altercation. I went through a few of these myself growing up so I know what it feels like. The thing about fear is though, if it you let it make you throw it all away like Asher is doing, it does more damage in the end. Hopefully at some point he learns to confront it better. My heart absolutely goes out to Killian. At that age I know I probably would have reacted the same way, except I probably would have attempted to run my dad over before I left if mine had been like Killian's. At least then he'd have a valid reason to be mad an hateful. Teach the bastard not to be in line with any bumpers on my car. Powerful chapter Josh.
