Somehow re-reading this story, chapter by chapter, makes me regret the comment I've made for the first chapter ... this story does have plenty of angst; but Reggie had been fortunate with his family and his friends ... No really traumatic experience for him to go through, not compared to those faced by other characters Ronyx has written about ...

It is kind of sad that even in a comparatively liberal and open minded household as Reggie's, he would still be stressed about coming out to his parents ... True, you actually need to ease them into it but Reggie was only a teenager, not really equipped with handling interpersonal dynamics with finesse ... <sigh>
