I always worry that my interpretation of the poems is off base from your intentions, and then you'll all tell me that the meaning is what the reader sees it to be. But, using the first piece as an example, I'd worry about what is going on in CG's life (hopefully everything is all right) maybe I'm worrying for naught ... poems remain cryptic and will not divulge their secrets easily ...

Wow, I've read the story many times before and have never noticed this problem with the weeks needed to fulfill the time requirement, well done @Graeme ! Reggie had set some lofty goals for himself, to make a difference in the world; he was afraid of the future but in a very mature way (well maybe an overthought way, but still ...) that he would regret not having made an impact with his life ... The novelty of being Gay Reggie should die down with time among his friends, at least I hope it would have become an almost insignificant quality with his friends after a while; his friends would forget it, if not truly accepting him the way he was ...

Yes, Chris was very lucky to have someone like Corey watching over / out for him. He could really empathise, to a very large extent, Chris's journey forward ... Very useful having a time correlation with Running with the Pack in this chapter, trouble for me is, I'd have to go back to check out the details in that wonderful story ...

It would be a bit, well more like, quite, cruel for Chris to have to shift from human to wolf with a tracking monitor bound to his ankle; although both Kyle and Corey tried to keep an eye on him during his transformation, there wouldn't be a lot that they could do if anything went wrong ... The great outdoors was a welcome change for all of us as the last few entries in Chris's journal left me with a stifling sense of claustrophobia, maintenance work never sounded better (not really, I'm a die hard couch potato) So, I suppose the painful shift was a fair trade off for Chris, not to be confined in a jail cell but to be running free as a pack of three and hunting as well ... A little sad that at the age of 19 did Chris start to feel enough trust to make some real friends ...

Whoa, and I thought Canada was a safer place ... my rosy perception of the country has been shattered many times now ... Well at least the bouncer was polite and professional ... I am in tears after reading this ... my parents are in their 80's, so it is mostly "out of sight, out of mind" for them as well. But my mother did tell my cousin (very close to us, more like a sister) that she has accepted the relationship between me and my then boyfriend (very complicated) ... Unrequited love is the most painful of all heartaches and yet sometimes it is somewhat too self absorbed (when it is a crush / infatuation) ... In the cases involving Elliot and Brandon, the former sentiment would be true ... The two songs that you've referenced here have completely gone over my head, sorry, I don't think I've listened to them before ...

Whoa ! So many strong opinions on this relationship ... Hmm ... we all bring our own "baggage" to this debate ... Well, Liam and Alek did break up multiple times over the issue of "being inside the closet" and even LitL has hinted at there being a lot more work needed to be done by Alek to gain the trust of Liam again. Alek did choose his business and his family over Liam, and there would be consequences for each of the choices he had made. I think we're so vehement in our desire for how the story should go forward, precisely because it is fiction; we feel we should be able to control the outcome of this tale. We, each of us, take the characters to heart and have written "fan fictional" accounts for them, projecting all our hopes, desires, fears, prejudices and a myriad of other emotions onto them. If, in the end, the story doesn't fit our version of it, we freely reject what LitL will have written and part ways with Liam and Alek ...
