It was late when I returned from the city last night, then a fitful night’s sleep. I feel like a zombie today. A horn blasted from the car in the next lane. It is sad that this happens in real life, to anyone. I too hope Katie comes back taking control. Brady and Ember do need to get out of their own way, and you're right they do need to learn how to communicate with each other. It seems Ember is stuck, Brady is flailing and over compensating.

I've heard that too from a domestic violence counsellor. In the area we were in the stats were highest among female same sex couples, then men against women, women against men, and lowest was male same sex couples. But women against men was on the rise. I was surprised by all of this, the one thing the counsellor mentioned was that the stats are skewed among all groups as so much goes unreported. They get their resources indicated by the stats.

She'll definitely have plenty of family support, even from friends and the extended family. This is one lady who isn't alone. As for Brady and Ember, gah, they just won't do what we want them to do.

From beginning to end, this is one of the most difficult chapters we've ever attempted. There just doesn't seem to be a right way to handle it. Our biggest hope was that we didn't offend or upset anyone. So thank you for your comment, we appreciate it.

The last week and a half have been amazing, I’ve had to pinch myself to make sure it’s real. Being with Ember is so much better in real life than I imagined it would be in my head. He’s sexy as hell, I can’t keep my eyes off him. Watching him muck around and play with his niece while we waited for the boy's race made my stomach flutter. I hate that there are so many kids in foster care, some because there's no one else, but it seems most are living someone else's consequences.

I agree vinegar on fish and chips is awesome, and I love it. Brown vinegar is the best, but white will work in a pinch. The things kids say to put you on the spot huh!

“Are we crazy for letting the boys drive together in your truck?” Brady asked. I observed as they drove in front of us, they were doing okay.
