I saw this trailer in front of Harry Potter today...

Well... the movie was good in its own right. Plenty of eyecandy (both guys and special effects).
However, if you loved the book, like I do...
It was disappointing.
As far as I could tell... nothing happened in this movie other than the big scene at the end with a pathetic little battle. They didn't even play the signature John Williams short little tune saying it was HP.
I'm going to see it again on Saturday, I'll think more on how I feel about it after a second viewing.
Saw this on MSN...

Well... you start a fire in your backyard and then stand over it with a blanket. sometimes you let smoke up and sometimes you don't. A person a few miles away sees these smoke signals and enters your words into a typewriter. Then a kid takes the typed pages to an executive assistance who enters into a computer for you. At that point the process is reversed and the response is sent back to the person in their backyard with their fire.
As you can see, the process is time consuming and rarely worth the effort.

Working on the Chat Lugh, as it clearly states in the status updates.
As for porn... well... I saw those paintings as well. They were very tasteful and clearly artistic... not porn. Therefore, I left them be.
The profiles look fine... in FF. For some reason, they are messed up in IE 8. I think IE 7 might actually work. Not sure on that.
It has been reported and we're waiting on the bug fix for that.
As for the eFiction button... that's a far more complicated issue. You're just going to have to use the "Readers" link for now.

It is there as part of the new "hook" system. There will be a lot of modifications available soon, I should think. Right now, we are stuck with default. So I can either leave it on or turn it off.

I've certainly been spending more time looking in the gallery since that showed up. But I've heard some people from the "it takes up too much space" camp and I wanted to get a feeling for where the general membership is on it.
