I'd like to thank Flip for the story archive update. We now have stats displayed at the bottom of the archive. He also made a host of improvements for the admins of the database that will allow us to add stories easier and maintain the files easier. Thanks Flip!

I'll look into a spellchecker. Or perhaps you can type it up in a word processor, run the spell check on it and then post? What do you mean by too simple?

If you noticed your status when you first registered, you start off as a Newbie. There are some good reasons to post and become a Member. 1) You can upload your own Avatar 2) The Private Message limit is raised to 50 messages. 3) There are several areas that are for members. One is a forum called "Sneak Peaks". It has some stuff that hasn't been posted yet, that I and other authors are working on. This will include Parliament of Dreams... So what do you need to do to move beyond Newbie? Just make 5 posts. What are you waiting for?

I've added fields for favorite published authors and net authors. Please take the time to fill it out. It's a good way to let other people know who is worth reading out there!

Alright, so Gay Authors has been around for almost a year now with almost no changes at all. We host Comicality, though most people don't leave his site, but until recently there hasn't been much to look at any way. My site is here too. A lot of people look there as well. Now we have this new discussion board with a ton of forums in it. Why? Each forum here serves it's own purpose, but my grand ideal behind this whole thing is to make a place where authors of gay fiction and readers can come together and discuss things. There is a place for budding authors to post there stories (The Library). There is a place for links to stories and discussions of those stories (The Cafe). There is a place to read a structured review of stories. There are some author help sections for editors and what not. This type of community will only work if we all participate, so if you write or read gay stories, come here and chat. Volunteer to become a story reviewer and write a short review article about the stories you read. Help us select stories to add to our story archive. Help us find authors that need a home. Please add your thoughts and comments. Myr

The warn thingy is a way for the admins to smack you when you aren't playingnicely with others. Accounts are automatically banned when they reach 100% on the warning. Only you can see your own warning level. (other then admins and moderators, that is)

More along the lines of not having any cross-generational relationships. Boys being boys type stuff.
