  4. I finally wrapped up watching all 8 episodes. I really enjoyed it. They changed just enough to be a surprise and set themselves for a run of shows, if they so desire.
  5. I quite enjoyed Alex Rider season 1. Longest I've sat still watching something in quite some time.
  6. Dark mode or contrast mode is part of the chapter text controls.

    Kill The Dog

When I saw the title to this article, I had a really good chuckle. I'm currently researching a writing genre, "cozy mysteries" because I am going to incorporate some of those techniques into a project I'm working on and one of the top rules of a cozy mystery is... don't kill the dog. 😀 I have had an interesting journey with all the research and reading I have done in various tangential topics... writing techniques... persuasion... engagement... marketing... leadership. A lot of this stuff ties into understanding how humans behave. We are not rational creatures. The vast majority of us run on autopilot the vast majority of the time. the emotional stuff tends to kick you out of automatic. Thanks @Comicality!
  8. That clip seems too short for some reason. It seems like something zesty is about to occur...
  9. I think that is up under the 3 dots menu at the top right of a post now. (Something about decluttering) And thanks for replying. You have been at this a long time and have a valuable perspective on it
  10. Episodic writing is very common. Write and post. Also, plenty of authors prefer to have their stuff complete before posting. My longest story has been written into a brick wall and sitting there for too many years to count now because I'd write and post. Very slowly, I've been rewriting and will post it when I'm done with the full story so I don't write myself into a wall yet again. All my future work I intend to have done before posting as well. @Bill W, you have done both as well, haven't you?
  11. I've reported this issue to our programmer

    Status Updates

My bad. I had to make adjustment to the sidebar widget that I missed in the initial upgrade. It should be all set now
  13. There was a backlog overnight as the system was processing a lot of stuff in the background. It should be fine going forward... so if you see similar issue after this post, then reply with a link.
  14. Yes.

    Site Lag

We are processing stuff in the background. It's a temporary issue.
  16. I have asked the programmer to look into this.
  17. The system made some changes to default actions. One of those is that it prunes followers after 1 year of not signing onto the site.
  18. Myr is shortened from Myrddin, which is the Welsh legendary figure on which the Merlin legend seems to be based.
  19. Possible. I do a force refresh (usually ctrl-F5) fairly regularly as habit.
  20. Entirely depends on how site is configured. Gay Authors has our important files on the site only and not cached at other locations. so clearing the cache on your browser forces the browser to grab a new copy from GA.
