Thanks @Comicality! You have definitely given us more food for thought with plenty of videos that help put your point across visually.

    Revisions

Another great article! What is a video store, an arcade and a mall? Is a mall the giant derelict building with one store in them and a collection of pot holes that used to be a parking lot? And I love the comparison videos with Star Wars. I was in college when Lucasfilm released the remastered edition of the films. They were the ones I saw in theaters because I was a bit too young having been born the day they did the critics screening for Star Wars. lol. I love Star Wars... or did until the vile, vapid Darth Kathleen Kennedy destroyed it with Darth Ruin Johnson in the Last Jedi. (Talk about truth in advertising there). But slipping back, I remember the raging debates about updating Star Wars from the original to the enhanced/remastered 20th anniversary editing back in 1997. Overall, people liked the changes, though the whole "Greedo shot first" debate still triggers people. lol. (for the record, I loved the original, the remastered, the prequels 1-3 (Less Jar Jar), tolerated/ignored Mary Sue Palpatine in Ep 7 and told Ep 8 and 9 to F off and die.) I've read somewhere that stories are never finished, they are just pulled out of the hands of the author... Revision has been a thing I've struggled with since I was a very avid HP fan-fiction writer in 2002... I'm still an avid reader of HP Fanfiction, having found any number of stories that far exceeded the original. But my own has languished for a LONG time because of revision. I've been ever-so-slowly rewriting it because I simply can't conclude it from where it is without doing justice to it. Anyway. Thanks for another engaging article with some great video examples!
  7. The world lost a talented man today. Though I've read he hated the fame from this movie... I grew up watching this every year. And of course the joy of listening to his voice quoting Shakespeare dressed as a Klingon.
  8. But this is a gay site... talking about Tom Cruise is kind of a thing for people of a certain age...
  9. You can rule out a story on GA by checking "My Reading History"... assuming you always stay logged in and you haven't gone over 30 days without visiting...
