Another very interesting chapter. As someone who has zero experience with gay culture, it’s always fun to read about Key West and now Fire Island. Politics aside, I love this series and reading about CJ and his family. Ritchie is still one of my favorites. I love how you’ve let him be his own person and even though CJ is an atheist, Ritchie has kept himself grounded in his faith. Very much like Paddy has done as well. I sincerely appreciate how you never get “preachy”and allow the characters to all have the right, and the platform, to believe and act as they choose. Too many times an authors personal views drown out any attempts to show an alternate side of things. But you’ve developed all of the characters to defy any preconceived stereotypes. Thanks for the balanced, and realistic, look at life!!!
