I think from the time that Will figured out where Brad was at that he perceived that All's fair in love and war'. Will won in getting them at least to this point in time, and that's what matters. Whether or not Jake goes to Mexico, at least they don't split in anger. I really don't think he will go. But if he does, I don't think he will come back alive. I almost thought there for a minute that Will was rethinking his Harvard decision, but I guess not. But I really don't know if he will do his 4 years there. If he does I hope Mark breezes right thru it in a hand full of chapters or we get to spend more time with other character's and where their lives are. Thank you Mark. Great story. You are the best, having two in my opinion "Best Sellers" going at the same time. Bridgemont Series is still my favorite, but not by much.

I had the feeling that Brad had done the meth more than just that night. I have never done meth, coke, extasy, or anything more than smoking weed. But have had some friends that really fucked up their lives for a while, some still are. But a couple of them I asked why they did it. I had only one that got really messed up on coke, most of his problems were financial, he was single so that helped all the other parts. But the couple that got fucked up on meth seemed to be a lot worse than if they might have gotten strung out on coke. They told me that the very first time they smoked meth, that they felt like they were on top of the world. And they fucked on and off for 2 - 3 days. It was wonderful. But after that they could never bring back that feeling or the great sex again. So they just kept doing it chasing that ultimate high but never being able to find it. They looked like walking death. I am 64 years old. All those guys are 20 - 25 years younger than I am. But they look like they are in their 70's. Teeth rotted, eyes sunk back. I saw one a few months ago when I was back home visiting relatives. He had been off meth now for almost 8 years. He didn't look like walking death anymore, but still looked old. His wife had gotten on it too. She was a trophy wife 10 - 12 years ago. She really could have been a model beautiful face and body. She now looks older than he does. Thankfully both his and her parents were able to take their 2 kids and between the 2 sets of parents kept them safe, in school and in college. But the shame their kids went thru has drove a wedge that I don't know if it will ever be a really good relationship between them and their parents. I don't think Brad is going to let that happen to himself. He just has to get thru this bit now. Keeping my fingers crossed with him and Jake. I believe Will has gotten a lot more respect now from Brad. I think with Stef and Grand too! Great Chapter Mark. Please keep them coming. I am also going into Granger DT's myself!! Hint, Hint!!

I would bet that Will doesn't mention the drugs to Stef and JP. I don't think he is the type to do that to his Dad. He will give Brad hell about it, but don' think he will make it pubic knowledge to other family members. That would drive a really large wedge between the two of them and I don't think Will would do or want that.

Great Chapter. It is going to be strange and a struggle for a couple of days, but I do think this is going to make Brad and Will a lot closer. And I also think it Brad will respect Will a lot more in the future. Will with either help him thru the break up with Jake, or help them to set down and talk and maybe work it out with each other. Will is maturing rapidly!

I thought that Stef would approve of Will's investment after last chapter. And now he wants to invest at the first opportunity. He realizes that this is going to be a great investment. I don't think Dan has anything going on. he just want to through it back into Will's face about taking calls. But I could be wrong. Can't wait for the next chapter. Hope we get involved in some of the other characters lives soon too. Four years of Will's time at school will get mundane after a while.

I hope St. Vincent doesn't make George stay home a long time. Maybe George will make him nervous with his popularity growing back home, that St. Vincent will give him a better bigger ship to get him away from England. I love George's exciting trips, and his prize winning from the French and the Spaniard's. Wish he would go back over to where his Grandfather is if I remember right the Caribbean. I don't remember the old man dying, so maybe he will get to see him at least one more time.

Thank you, Mark! I am so proud to have Granger back at the helm again. I think the crew is going to be behind him 100%. Some of the officers may need some help along the way. I know Granger wishes he had his chef back now. I bet his first port he gets better provisions for his personal fare and maybe upgrade the stores for his crew too. Maybe he will get a few captures of some French ships.

I I do agree, "The Long Way" is a must read. It has been at least 10 years or more since I read that, and "Dessert Dropping" and another of his stories. All were great. I need to go back and re - read them again. But I do remember they were wonderful stories.

Great Chapter Mark. I think Patrick is really in love with Will, but just doesn't want to admit it. He may be calling him to come back to NYC for major functions to attend with him. Johnny might Suprise Will, Stef, and Grand and try to give them their money back if he wins against his family. i wonder if Stef meets Kris will he give him any business? Might if he gets some sex out of him. Grand may go along with a 3some. Keep up the great work Mark.

I agree with you on the watch! I thought the same thing about the family post Tonto, but they only skipped a beat for a short time then everything seemed back on track. Who will step up next post him though? Stef, Isidore, or maybe Claire might start showing some sane authority. But I feel they will survive! But hopefully that is something in the distant future! It might embarrass Brad, don't think it will Stef or even JP. And really don't think it would embarrass Will at all. All the money they have it doesn't really make any difference. Might get Will laid more! LOL!!

Oh you will end up reading it again. I think it was a number of years ago that I read it for the first time. But I really didn't read any of the comments or make any. I had gotten snake bit on another story i read by a couple of dumbass's that had read it before totally giving the story away in their comments. So I just read the story. Then I read it again about a year and half ago and started reading some of the comments then. or as notices pops up that someone has made a recent one I like to go and see how much they are enjoying this great story. Looks like I missed some of you comments late last year. So as Raven1 is now reading I look back and see I few I did miss. But I bet you do read it again in the future or at least refresh your memory by re-reading a chapter that someone might have made a comment on. Hard not too.

Their experiences and times at Shark Bay or some of my favorite of all in this story. Like you I think it I think it is a beautiful place. But seems like all of the West Coast Darwin all the way down to Perth is too.

Great Story Gary. I just hope you eventually come back to the guys in COTT and S & D and let us know what is going on with their lives. Might could have a 5 years in the future with Nate and Bodie and tie all of them in together. They should be in College now. But they are your stories and all left up to you. I am so glad that Arron saw the light of his insecurities and got out of his vehicle and went back to fight for Chet, even though it was with himself. I so wanted to reach thru the story and slap him upside the head and make him see that he was overreacting. Glad they are back as a couple again. Great Story, "Writer God"

I have read all the comments. Some I agree with and some I don't agree with. But knowing from reading COTT that Chet and Arron got together and became a couple during the almost 2 weeks that Kendall and Mike were gone out west. So this is in that period of time. And they were a happy couple at that intended fix up dinner. Nothing was ever brought up about this wrinkle. When I saw the title of this chapter I knew that the shit was going to hit the fan. I didn't think that it was wise for Chet to leave Ian at his place when he went to work. He should have at least called in late, and made sure Ian was gone. But he didn't. I really think Arron overreacted even though he had been snake bit by his ex. This was only their second date, and 3rd time of ever meeting each other within 1 1/2 days. Him being a cop he should know he should listen to what to the parties involved. But if I didn't know the outcome before reading this and knowing Chet's point of view. If I was Chet I would not call Arron after I get rid of Ian. I would leave it up to Arron having some time to call me. If he didn't, oh well someone else would come along. It wasn't like he cheated on anyone. But there is always if's. Like the old saying. "If my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle.
