I actually like your style of writing Jim. Instead of writing the script of the character to be what you predetermined them to be like, or say, or do. You kind of float them and let them lead you to the direction they want to go. I don't think many authors have that ability to give their characters reign over the direction the story is going, not that you are not telling your story, but letting your character develop as your mind adapts to their development. If you had that storyboard guiding you on how the story is to be written, I don't think your stories would be near as good as they are turning out to be. I hope you don't try to change that style as you write in the future. I do think a storyboard, as any planning helps get a story, project, game, or idea headed in a right direction, it has to be flexible or ability to adapt to conditions or opportunities for better results. In your case a better story. I know you are not one for going back and reading your own stories, but if you intend to maybe continue adding future stories of these wonderful characters that you have enriched our minds with in your last 3 stories. You need to go back and start a character list and how they are related to the overall series. As you review it if you are intending to turn this into an ongoing series it will make your life a lot more easier and also let your characters lead in their future development. You have developed a goldmine of characters to work from. Keep up the great work.

Like some of the others we have talked about Mark Arbour, Tim Mead, Maxieplus, and I would include Mark Peters, Carlos Hazday and JDonley75, Miquel Sanchez, and a few more. They have done really fine good jobs of keeping their characters alive in continuing series, or parallel, or side stories. You have done a lot of that so far in your 3 stories I have read so far. You may have to go back and read your stories again and start a Character Key or Directory with notes on each, not only for yourself, but for your fan's too. I sometimes have to stop reading and think back now just who was that character that was just mentioned. When they haven't been mention in a while a key or directory does help to refresh your memory. But you already have some really great characters that your fans have fell in love with. As long as you get enjoyment out of writing and bringing these wonderful people alive, go for it. I know of your 3 stories I have read, you have stated that they started off as a 1 chapter story, but you couldn't stop there. Well I hope you don't stop with just the few stories you have done so far. Hopefully maybe 10 years from now you will have like Mark Arbour's 17 Chronicles of an Academic Predator that he started on Dec. 11th of 2010 or His Bridemont Series which by the way he started 10 years ago day after tomorrow. And is now on Book 10. And I hope he keeps both of those ongoing stories going for a long time. Tim Meade seems to have stopped posting. I hope he starts backs some day soon. I truly hope you think hard about continuing on with your great talents. I am a fan of yours!

Great Chapter. You know I like long chapters. The longer the better for me. When it is getting real late and I am needing to get to bed by a certain time I will look at the work count before I start reading. If it is a has a lot of words I might just stop for the night and book mark it to start off with next chance I get. This one only had 3996 words. Anything over 10,000 I might consider as getting long.

Doc might get more $20 bills in the mail than you are Jim if you would post his address! LOL!!

Same with the names, every time I see Sam and Dave written in the story, think of one of my favorite duo's of Sam and Dave. I love their song, "When Something Is Wrong With My Baby." Love this story! Love the characters!

I just hope that if George and Daventry have to stay until the assassination happens, they will be able to leave just right afterwards. I know George misses the high seas and I miss them for him. The cold of Russia is boring!

I do love this story! I really don't know what awaits after this one ends. If you have others in this series finished, or side stories of some of these guys. Or like you have hinted going back and having stories of the Adams' and maybe Grants even back to the very first meeting of their Great Great Grandfathers. I certainly hope you have a lot more ins store for us on these two wonderful families and the others that are tied to them. Keep up your gifted ability of telling a great story.

Wow! Great Chapter! When Raymond was doing his planning for the guest house and thought he knew who he intended on living in it, I kind of thought he might be planning on getting Danny's parents to come and live in it, so they could be close to them and also the future grandkids. Might still happen but that was my thought about his thoughts.

Wow! What a big job promotion for Jeremy. That is like hitting big in the lottery with a promotion like that. And just think, Jeremy and Tink will make great boyfriends!!!!! They will go far together! I had the feeling it was Jeremy unlocking the door. Great writing Jim! Going to be busy over the next couple of days. My timeline is almost like the one in this story. Tonight is New Years Eve in 2020.

Great Story! I don't know enough of the snake handling holy-rollers to even speculate who might be backing them. I don't think anyone of them with a lot of means has been mentioned or described unless it is the one rancher that Paul went to visit that was very negative to him. The rest are in jail or their money has probably been frozen until the trials come up.

Great chapter, and you cleared up some of your intentions for Larry and Runt. I am glad you are going to fix and remodel and enlarge their home and the Mobile / Modular Home is more temporary. You are doing a fine job with your writing. Keep up the great work.

I have liked the characters of Larry and Runt from the beginning, even thought this was the first time we got to actually meet Runt. It is pretty evident that they come from some very poor beginnings. But are thankful, and make the best of what they have. Even thought it is just a patched together shack, they have pride in keeping it clean and made it a home regardless of the condition the place was in. I hope the Mobile home that Raymond gets them is a top of the line model. I am sure it Larry and Runt will keep it spotless clean. Something about them two peaked my interested from the beginning. Talk about wild passionate sex. I bet them two, Larry and Runt can match anybody in hot love making!

Another Great Chapter. I thought a few Chapters ago when Danny made the comment at Christmas when he said, "But he's not and Adams" Speaking about Raymond, that I think somehow or another he really is an Adams.

When I read the line. "A gray-haired woman in her late fifties moved to intercept Jeff." First thing I thought was she had a gun, until she let into him with her filth. I am just glad I didn't have a mouthful of coffee when the voice like thunder shouted out “YOU MISERABLE FUCKING BITCH! DON’T YOU DARE TOUCH MY BROTHER”! But was it a man's voice or a woman's voice. Everyone seems to think its a woman's but I didn't read anything saying it was a man or a woman's. Great Chapter Jim! Got to get on to the next one.

What a great chapter. I enjoyed Danny's Christmas breakfast with his parents. You can tell they are wanting him to meet his life mate soon. Not realizing that is might be in their very near future. And wow they may be grandparents within a year. Just Wow. When Raymond mentioned Arkansas and a doctor helping him with a surrogate mother, Julie's words to Jeff and Paul came to mind. I think I know where they will get their twins from too. I really have the feeling that Larry and Runt may turn out to be some very special characters. I hope that Raymond gives them a chance to get the ranch up and going the way it should have been for years, and become life long managers for him and his growing family.

I have got things I need to get done, but no, I can't stop reading this story! But this is going to be the last chapter for me for a few hours I do have to get some done before 5 pm and it is 3:24 pm now. Thanks Jim!

Besides, tomorrow is Christmas and Santa will be watching very closely. I don't want to be a bad boy and get ashes and switches for Christmas.” “I believe you and I love you too Daddy Jeff. But, I expect DJ will get those ashes and twitches cause he doesn't believe in Santa. He asked me not to tell anyone at school he doesn't believe cause it might hurt their feelings or make them mad at him. You don't even want to know what he said about the Easter Bunny. He talked about pages and oysters. He said those holidays were just to make it easier to believe in orgasmed religion. I told him I didn't believe in that, I believed in God and Jesus and Santa. I told him I wasn't too sure about a rabbit laying chicken eggs anyway. So he might be right about the Easter Bunny. I told him he didn't have to believe like I do, he is my friend and he can believe whatever he wants. I just hope he isn't too upset when he gets only ashes and twitches tomorrow. I’ll share some of what I get with him.”

I was sitting at my desk in my office at home and had just taken a swallow of coffee when I read "orgasmed religion". Damn you Jim. I had to clean up coffee off my screen, papers, on desk, TV above desk and myself. If this wasn't suck an very good story, you would be on my shit list at the moment. I can't wait to hear about the $100 bills being traced to sorry ass Fire Chief Bumpkis' bank account.
