The cats are unphased. People have been setting them off for a couple of weeks. I know it's much harder on dogs.

you've shared this photo with me before... thanks for sharing it again. Such serenity in a single photograph, but its the memories that stay with you which are the most impacting. Having a "happy place" to visit, even in the mind, is good for the soul.

Cool, thanks for the link, Def! I haven't had the pleasure of seeing live, but I'm familiar. There was a dance troupe in Hawaii, Iona Pear, that blew my mind as a teen. Lots of artistic and interpretive dance, like Alvin Ailey.

Creative writing is a form of artistic expression requiring vision and courage to forge. Other forms of artistic expression require the same -- music, theater, dance, visual art. As a writer, I am influenced and inspired by others' creative endeavors, and I'm frequently in awe of the ingenuity and bravery exhibited. Take this for instance: the reenactment of Caravaggio paintings by the Ludovica Rambelli Theater, set to Mozart's Requiem in D Minor. Feel free to share something that inspires or influences you or that you find beautiful, outrageous or just plain cool. I'd love to see/hear/experience it.
