I hope Dr. Reilly remembers Brett's birthday, I hope Billy talks to Brett about what happened, and I hope that Joey gets run over by a car on the way to school tomorrow.

The chapter was perfect other than we still don't know Mel's master plan. You asked about chapter size and I am fine with the "Josh/chihuahua" sized chapters or the "Kevin/Rottweiler" size whatever is easier for you to publish. This chapter didn't feel small anyway. Feel for Kevin against his asshat father though.

Happy Birthday Brett. What a great present to receive from your boyfriend. I am pleased to see that Brett and his mom seem to have a better relationship too. The old Brett would have had a tantrum and Dr. Reilly would have bought the XBox for Brett just to pacify him.

Thanks for the story. I am loving it and the teenage angst. I think the age references to 15 going on 16 are awesome. If Reggie ever rereads this as an adult of 40 something I hope he laughs and wishes he didn't try to grow up to quickly. 😀

Thank you for the great chapter. I take it that Nadine didn't know about CJ's past with her comments about Silas. She said exactly the right thing though. I also loved her reference to the "squad" and CJs response. I am so glad I rediscovered this after starting at nifty years ago.
