Come to think of it, he did mention on January 11 that he's been having some kind of internet troubles, so maybe that's what's going on...
-
I've been wondering the same thing, I hope he's alright.

Imagine Magazine Question For 12/31
Shadow086 replied to Comicality's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
That's where you have to learn to break things up. You say you want to clean up one room each day. Then when you finish one room, you see you have time for another one, then maybe a third. Find what works for you, but I noticed I can get more done when I give myself a lot of stopping points, because if I force myself into an 'all or nothing' situation, I'll always end up doing nothing in the end. -
Oh, I think he will allow it. It seems to me that Cyrus decided to start playing the long game. I feel like Cyrus's plan now is to observe Wesley, find out who he's attached to (friends, family, etc.) and then alienate Wesley from them (or just take them out, whatever works best). All Cyrus really has to do is make Wesley transform in front of his family, and they'll call him a monster and reject him. I'm pretty sure Cyrus has the ability to do that easily. And I don't believe for a second that Cyrus and the pack won't tear him to pieces if/when he goes back to them anyway.
-
Maybe eventually, but I don't think it'll happen right away. And since we know Wesley's an alpha, he might just end up turning others and trying to start his own pack before he goes feral, if that would even work.
-
Feral? I'm not sure in the short-term. What I do think is he'll become more rebellious and his father will start to label him a 'problem child' and his attempts at discipline will only make Wesley more aggressive. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up beating the crap out of his dad for some really trivial and nonsense reason.
-
That was entirely too easy, surely there's a catch. Sure, Cyrus let his friends go that night, but I 100% expect everyone in that truck to turn up dead or missing within the next few days. After all, he never said anything about not killing them later. At the same time, I'm glad this finally happened, because I'm more than ready for the post-Cyrus portion of this tale. Nothing against this book, the chase was very intense and gripping, but I personally find the coming 'lone wolf' part more compelling, where Wesley is battling the beast within while trying to lead a normal high school life. How quickly will that dream crumble to pieces? We don't know. Maybe this is Wesley's only way out, because deep down, I think he knows all Cyrus is offering is a slightly different cage. And I don't believe for one second that the pack wasn't going to kill him right then and there.

Finally the two storylines are brought together, and in a great way. I liked seeing Connor turn into an excited puppy, imagining this huge wolf dancing around was funny to me. Hopefully they can figure out what to do and return to the rest of the family soon.

Take all the time you need, my friend. PS: I'm glad you enjoyed One Piece, and I can't wait for season 2. There's something so joyful in early One Piece, it's so fun to watch. You know, if you want more, there's over 1050 anime episodes waiting for you. 😆
-
Hey, it's fine, man. Not feeling well isn't something you should feel like you have to apologise about. If you need to take some time rest and look after yourself, no one will hold it against you. Not the people who matter, anyway. I hope you DO get better soon, and for a long time.

Chapter 166 Easy Come, Easy Go
Shadow086 commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 166 Easy Come, Easy Go
Oh come on, Robbie! Just ditch the selfish druggie already and see what else is on offer! Rory would be a good match, but he's still sending mixed signals, so maybe he's off the table. But I'm sure there are better gay guys out there than Nathan and Alex (who totally deserve each other in my opinion). Or maybe, you know, try working on that 'parenting' thing, just in case. I think Robbie has a reality check coming. If he's going to be in his child's life, he's going to have to grow up fast and gain some maturity and responsibility, and hopefully part of that will be him realising that a guy like Nathan is not someone you want to have around your baby. The writing's on the wall on this relationship with Nathan. -
I'm going to be the devil's advocate here, but I imagine they might get as many emails as you do, and some things can slip through the cracks. I'm sure they mean to help you out, but there's always going to be someone else with a new problem that needs fixing, so you gotta refresh their memory a little bit and say "Hey, I still need help here!"
-
That sounds like the kind of crap I have to deal with at work every day. Ugh... Maybe their security software thinks your chapter is a virus or something. Like, if you emailed them with the same email address and they got it, it might be something else. I would email them again to follow up if you haven't already, there's a chance they had a lot of things come up and forgot to look into it.

Only two weeks away!!! XD
Shadow086 replied to Comicality's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
And I think you do. To me it's about approaching different media with different expectations. If I'm reading a book or a story I'm expecting to have to make up my own sounds and imagery in my head, even if it ends up not being 100% the same as what you had in mind. To me it's part of the fun. -

Like @MrM said, don't sell yourself short. There's nothing wrong with your action scenes, and honestly, I like yours better, because I can slow down and 'replay' them as often as I like until I get it right, instead of just watching a blur of images and sounds and not having a clue what's going on. It's hard to compete with movies and TV when it comes to that stuff, because they can just add intense music and a bunch of 'speed noises' to make their action scenes feel faster and more intense. -
Stacy is a deranged lunatic in dire need of professional help, but I think she's beyond help at this stage. And of course she went crying to Mommy, who's going to accept that without question and blame Seth for everything. Those two loseresses deserve each other, and I hope Seth can find his way out of living with them.

I don't think Drew's dad's little plan is going to work out the way he's hoping. Ethan's mom seems to know about him and be supportive of his relationship with Drew. It's what comes next that's troubling me. And Drew, don't you get it? You're not alone anymore. Patrick and Ethan's friends are on your side. I get where he's coming from, but he needs to at least try and stop the pity party. Yeah, it sucks that Ethan's a target now too, but distancing himself won't make that target go away, so just stick with him. If anything, I think Ethan might start resenting Drew for pulling away.

For a second there I had the crazy idea that John wants a taste of Matty and is using Connor to take out the competition. But that would be silly.😇

That parting shot from Connor concerns me a little. It could very well be more hot air, but I sense he plans to threaten Matty into complying. My guess is he's trying to get Preston to sign off on some bogus rule banning cat boys on campus under penalty of expulsion. Connor's career in politics is going to be very short-lived unless he suddenly grows a functioning brain and realises that being a petty and sanctimonious prick doesn't get you a lot of votes. Rusty quitting basketball doesn't really surprised me after he pretty much told Roy he was planning to pursue other interests. His former teammates won't see it that way for some time, but he'd be letting them down much more by staying on the team and giving it a half-hearted effort. John desperately needs better taste in men.

The links have some sort of other link added in front of them. Not sure if GA added that or what, but if you're able to remove it that should fix it.
-
The less is said about those losers who brought Jonas and Robin into this world, the better. I feel like the dreams are a sign of things to come, and that they have something to do with Connor.

From that phone call, I think he's planning to have the dorms searched to find the cat suit. It's a terrible idea, but Connor hasn't let such trivial details stop him before.

Reading this chapter, I just had the strange idea that John could be Xpress. Sounds ridiculous at first, but... We know John has a lot of connections, which he used to bring people to Connor's cause; Xpress found out really quickly about what transpired at that meeting with Preston; and it would explain how John thinks he can keep Connor in line. It wouldn't be the craziest thing to happen at Sunny Hill. So it's pretty reasonable to assume Slicky has been unmasked, let's see how this plays out. Connor irritates me to no end, he's the kind of sanctimonious prick who shouldn't be allowed in polite society. Now more than ever, the students of Sunny Hill need you...to take a hike and never come back. Ugh...
