Bill, First of all great chapter. I had a similar experience to Benny's when I was 5 or 6, I was hiding from my older brother in a cedar closet and couldn't get the door to open, really scary for a kid my age. You wrote it beautifully. Please keep up the good work. Jon

Bill, Great Chapter! I can already see the conflict that Ryan may bring to the Castway Hotel, but my hope is that everything will work out. Talk about art mimicking life, I seem to remember a similar situation to this chapter in the news about 12 years ago when I lived in the Philadelphia area. If I remember correctly the incident happened in Lancaster and involved a couple that took in Amish Kids that were shunned by the community. The ages of the kids involved were from 12 to 17 both boys and girls. Since no one in the Amish community wanted the kids they were all put into the system. I believe that some of the boys ended up ate the Hersey School and stayed there until they graduated high school. The couple that ran the house were brought up on so many different charges and sentenced to something like 50 years each. i think that it might make an interesting side story to show what happens to the couple that had taken Ryan in then pimped him out. Even if it just part of an future conversation between Little Ricky, Brandon and Danny.

Wrapping up the holidays is alway a difficult task in writing, but you did a great job. Thanks for the great chapter Bill.

Glad to see that Peter was cleared but CPS is a different story. My brother-in-law was accused of abusing my Nephew by a Child Care Worker. He was not allowed in the house for about a month. When he went for his interview the Social Worker took one look at him and said "You ticked off a Child Care Worker, didn't you?" It had turned out he was the 4th father this b*t*h had reported in the last 6 months. CPS launched an investigation against her directly. She lost her job and her licence, the Day Care center was also sued and was shut down. I am hoping that we find out what happens to the Laytons. I really think that Alan should press charges for kidnapping and mental anguish. Loving the story, can't wait for the next chapter.

Please do not tell me that you have abandoned this story. I agree with others who have commented that there needs to be resolution between Peter, Alan and the boys. They all need each other in order to get through this. As for the Laytons the school should not have allowed Troy to be taken by them. Also the Police should have them in custody for Kidnapping.
