Seems like it to me 😉

Yes, it's very apparent that Damien is into the vampire who is at least a century old but still looks like he's in his twenties. Hopefully, Will's motivations are just as pure as Damien's and not laced with any ulterior motives.
-
Yes, hopefully Damien can continue to become more open-minded on his views of vampires and vampiric society since that is one of the main obstructions preventing him from seeing a potential relationship with Will. The others being Damien's deep attachment to his deceased wife and his attempts to squash his homoerotic desires.

I checked the time on my phone, and I called Austin and the girls, telling them that we were ready to leave. It has been a long while since the whole family has gone out to eat. Mostly we ate premade meals or food that I have cooked personally which was always a case of trial and error. However, I made a promise to myself that I was going to focus more of my attention on my kids and become the father that all three of them deserved. And that promise involved going to the kids’ favorite restauran

And thank you for the comment of support!

And hopefully Damien gives some of his earnings to Anthony, so he too can pay his debts. I mean, without Anthony, Damien and Will wouldn't have met. Though, that could either be a blessing or a curse in Damien's eyes.

There's definitely more to Will than meets the eye. The reader already knows he is at least a hundred years old, is very knowledgeable on ancient relics like Damien's sword, and can defeat a behemoth like Victus with just a few quick moves. Damien is going to have to admit his attraction sooner or later but only after he talks with Austin and mends their relationship since his kids obviously come first as a parent.

Well, it can be assumed that Annabella's death was caused by a vampire, so him being reluctant to even accept his desires for Will is understandable. And it seems that his attachment to his wife goes way deeper than we previously have thought. However, moving on is still the right decision since she's not coming back and living alone when all the kids have moved away doesn't like an ideal option for anyone.

I had no idea what Will’s plan was as we stood together in the living room, wineglasses being passed around by the servants to the other vampires. The performers, having done their job of entertaining the guest with joined orgasms, left the area, leaving only the vampire and a few servants who were filling the wineglasses with the tampered bottle. I watched as each glass got filled with a red fluid that could only be blood, my blood. When Will’s own glass got filled, I saw that what used to

It's possible that Damien only knows the rudimentary functions of the sword and his blood, while Will knows much more, considering he has studied relics like Damien's sword for close to a century. Also his family possibly didn't disclose the sword's true capabilities to Damien, for whatever reason. We'll see as the story advances. Thank you again for your comments. 😀

There's definitely something special about Damien other than bring a descendent of one of the twelve disciples. It must involve his blood and could be connected to the Holy Grail that, in myth, said to grant to whoever possesses it eternal life. Maybe there's even more qualities to the sought-after cup since vampires are already immortal, but one step into the Sun and they're toast...literally. Just some food for thought.

You'll see in the next chapter 😉

I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I turned around to see Will pointing his finger to the windshield showing the car approaching a large mansion. Yawning, I unbuckled my seatbelt as the car drove onto a curved driveway. I checked to see that my handle was still in my pocket before grabbing the car door to open it. Before I could exit, Will placed a firm hand on my shoulder and said, “Before we go. There’s a couple of things I need to tell you first.” “Right. I hate to go into this mission

We first learned that Austin was at a vampire hangout during a school night and was overall being a bratty teenager. However, this chapter reveals how much baggage he has to carry by taking care of his twin sisters because of his mother's death and his somewhat absent father. A good one-on-one talk with son and father is very advisable right now as well as Damien stepping up being a more involved father.

I opened my eyes when I heard my phone buzzing, which I reluctantly grabbed from my nightstand. I wasn’t able to get a lot of sleep, and when I could finally sleep, I ended up waking up repeatedly throughout the night. Me being tied up by a vampire and fearing for my life wasn’t the best method to get a good night of sleep was all I could say. And I unfortunately missed work today, which my boss was definitely going to give me hell about later. Checking the screen, I saw Will’s name, and I tappe

Lucky's a man who wants nothing more than to fall in love with another prince and have his own happily ever after. Unfortunately, he's arranged to be married to a princess as nothing more than a business transaction for his father the king. Lucky has a mission, though, and he is willing to cooperate with a former Big Bad Wolf turned police officer. In a modern world where magic exists with the fairest women and the most charming men, they must together to fight an evil force wanting control over the entire world. And with help of a few princesses, this won't be just another fairy tale story.

Damien should indeed think about the protection of his children as well since they do carry the same bloodline as him. We'll see why Damien kept the surname in a future chapter.
-
Yes, it's very true that there is vanity in keeping the surname St. Paul. Maybe there is a reason for why Damien maintained the surname when he could've easily changed it instead after escaping from his family. We'll see 😉

Hearing a distant voice calling my name, I traversed through the darkness and moved towards a small blink of light. The voice was becoming louder and more distinct as I continued forward. The light also got brighter with the silhouette of a person standing in front of the window of shining illumination. I was then standing behind the person whose flowing, brown hair brought the scent of green apples that always entranced me. I knew who this person was. I knew who she was. Placing my hand on

Nothing is easy when it comes to hunting a vampire. Also, it does seem that Damien's sexuality isn't as straightforward as was assumed in the first chapter. Excuse the pun.
-
Yeah, even though vampires in this world are considered immortal, they still have human-like qualities that make them relatable.
-
Hopefully our protagonist will be able to escape whatever trouble he's in now. And nice pun.

“All right, Austin. Make sure to turn off all the lights after you tucked the girls into bed. The leftover dinner is in the refrigerator for you all to heat up in the microwave and eat, so don’t use the stove or oven. And only eat at the dining table. Got it?” Austin nodded, not looking up from his phone which was a major pet peeve of mine. “And after I come home, we’ll be discussing your little escapade last night,” I said as I put on my brown leather jacket. “Yes, sir.” A knock
