    No comment about swallowing. I'm sure you make up for that in other wonderful ways. We rarely eat beef any more for a variety of reasons. Tonight we had some amazing grilled chicken, it's not beef but it was damn good.

    I like meat cooked. Medium rare is best but I'd eat it any way. tim still does that, but now there's always a note. LOL

    I know, mainly through tim, that life has been a challenge since you returned from Florida. You're a good person, who, I believe has only ever tried to help, no matter what you say to the contrary. If your mother-in-law will end up remaining in the nursing home or hospital, I sincerely hope things remain peaceful.

    As am I. he hasn't been himself for sometime, but sounds much better today. I still think he should take it easy but do get out for some walks and things. I hope everyone is well.

    Indeed. If she were my sister, there'd be a restraining order in her future. That woman shouldn't be near vulnerable people. She's incompetent. As for what I'd say...did say...I won't repeat it ... polite company and all that.

    A beautifully written space tale. We find a man who is awoken into a mystery 400 years after the fact. He is alone except for the rather sarcastic ship's computer, SILAS, who turns out to be more than anyone bargained for, but he is integral to solving the reasons why they are where they are. There is so much here in these worlds, tim has built. Highly recommend that you don't miss this one.

    Most likely the office knew, maybe the Captain and HR officer if there's such a thing. But likely not most of the crew. In any case, if these people did know, it's still a mystery why he was left behind. He sounds like a man you'd want along if you leaving your ship.

    You know I love this story. I think it's well written and is engaging, hopeful and inspiring. Humans can do better, much better. We fight nature, but nature will out. And it doesn't take long. I believe after this war Earth experienced, people chose to live with nature, rather than fight it. And what of these three? Of to find the truth of what happened aboard The Horizon's Edge. What will they learn? It's going to be interesting. I do happen to know, Part 3 is longer than either part one or two. Something to look forward to with a cup of coffee.

    Brilliant. That's a hard question to answer without more information. So much time has passed as well. None of the original crew would like be alive, though who can say for sure since James Carson is... Looking forward to more!

    It's pretty horrific here. Warnings not to leave the house without a respirator mask. This morning the sky isn't bright orange at least. Though there are buildings we cannot see. We have an air purifier going which seems to help somewhat, but some rooms we've closed off stink of smoke. There are lots of fires north of us all across the country. Sadly wind and weather are not bound by maps or hand drawn borders.
