    Chapter 2

This seems like it’s going to get rough for the brothers, although right now it’s hard to care too much for Devin.
  3. Came for the chapter title, stayed for the fun. What a great start - I like these guts already, Sam is cute, but Jamie is... wow, he’s awesome. More please

    Chapter 1

It’s always nice to see a new story from @Ronyx, as you can safely predict what whatever the hell is about to happen, it will be good. I’m looking forward to reading more.

    Betrayal

So it maybe wasn’t shocking or surprising how this turned out, but it was great story telling

    Chapter 13

I feel that I ended up here through blatant mis-selling and manipulation - thank you @Ronyx it was totally worth it

    Chapter 8

I’m nit sure I’m happy about being a gas tank
  8. Don't bring me into this!

    Love?

Exactly - yet still you only love it with as much intensity as everything else!
  10. I’ve not read this, but now I’m thinking that maybe I should, so thanks And I like this concept too. On a (almost) related note, I’d point people towards The View From The Cheap Seats by Neil Gaiman. It’s not specifically ‘a book about writing’ or ‘how to write’, but in it he talks a lot about writing, the process, and the experience, which as a novice I’ve found very useful, reassuring, and occasionally inspiring too.

    Love?

Wait... you love chocolate the same amount as everything else? This seems very wrong.

    A Craving

You’ve created so many monsters, whether they are people or feelings, real or imagined.
  13. Cool - I’d never heard it before.
  14. Does that count as a portmanteau? I like it whatever.
  15. Awww, what a hopelessly romantic story, with a Groot reference too, so bonus points for that Oh, an actual review? OK, this is a short but delicious story, romantic, maybe whimsical, definitely cute, where Alex gets way more than he expects for Christmas. Just go and read it and enjoy. And no, it doesn’t matter that Christmas is currently months away.

  16. I’ve just been introduced to this via a friend, it looks good, but the almost total lack of early voice acting is a little weird. Anyone else play? Does it get better? Is it worth it?
  17. This is a really nice story, which is disarmingly brutal whilst hiding behind a light and fluffy facade. I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that the right thing happens in the end - although you might not be entirely clear what that is until you get there. Reading it all in one sitting, as I just have, there were a few slightly jarring moments between chapters, but this wasn’t a major problem and things generally explained themselves wel enough in the end. Unfortunately it also suffers from one of my pet hates, namely, having too many gay characters. It’s as personal taste issue, so you might not care about this, or even like it more because of it. I’m not here to judge, well, OK, I am because I get to give it a star rating, but you know what I mean. It’s still a good story.

    Chapter 4

Well this is going to get complicated

    One Like Ryder

I’m enjoying this second half (?) much more than the first, which surprises me even as I write this, but seeing how Teddy and Ryder are starting to make actual ‘grown-up’ decisions and come to terms with big feelings is very gratifying.

    Oooh, grown-ups, cool!

    Shane

I've enjoyed reading this, so firstly, thank you @vlista20 for writing it. There's a few comments along the way from readers complaining that it's "unrealistic". Well, yeah, you know what, I really hope it is, because the first half of the story is damned dark. Like, it's properly tragically bleak. Unfortunately - for those similarly persecuted - it's also not 'never gonna happen' levels on unrealism. There are many flawed and inadequate adults in the world, and this story plunges towards the darkest depths of that particular barrel. At least one of them, Don, finally get's it together enough to do the right thing. I think this is ultimately a story of hope, of love, and of growth. Shane transforms as the pages go on, until there's a more or less fairytale ending, which is thoroughly deserved. Maybe it's a fantasy, maybe it's cathartic, maybe it's just a story. Whatever it is, it's definitely worth a read. My only real problem is one of personal taste, as it suffers from the common form of TMGC (Too Many Gay Characters), but like I said, this is my own personal taste, not necessarily a critical reflection on the story overall.

    Chapter 6

Hmm, well that’s depressing, even if not totally surprising.

    Chapter 5

Well it's almost, kind of, a little bit like things are slightly better? Maybe? Or maybe I'm just hoping so. Derek is hardly the catch of the year though.

    Chapter 3

Wow, this is desperately sad - but also kind of compulsive reading, so well done.
