Thanks for reading, I hope you will enjoy the rest of the story.

Thanks very much! I’m pleased you like these guys, I surprised myself at the time, but happily so, as I like them too. I guess that’s why they get to come back

Today, as most days so far this year, Tligg was doing not very much at all, preferring to lay on his bed and stare at the ceiling, but occasionally forced outside by his mother, where he could stare at the sky instead. It’s been a little over four months since he retuned home from The Great Project, and despite his misgivings about it, he’d had a pretty great time there. Not least because of Craagen. But that all felt very unreal now that Tligg was back home, back to reality, and Craagen felt a

Tligg is a fairly average elf - and this is the story of his how his world came to include Craagen. It’s a story of friendship and love, as well as the things that happen in between and around such intense feelings. Meeting by pure chance, their first encounters ended up being an intense experience. But is that enough to lead to something more?

It’s funny you should mention that.....

Awesome way to reveal the situation to everyone, and us!

I’ve been enjoying this so much, it’s a great story, thanks @Ronyx

These guys are way cute - which honestly, I’d usually find annoying by now. I guess there’s something more to them that makes them so enjoyable.

Novy? Yeah - I’m sure that’s just a coincidence Great update, thanks.

I made it up carefully researched elf history and naming conventions and... - Craagen was inspired by a boy I once knew called Craig, and so translated into elf world, he became Craagen.

April Classic Author Feature: No Strings by Sara Alva
Sam Wyer commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
This is a very cool, very cute, short story! Thanks for another great recommendation. -
The idea is so tempting, but it’s difficult to imagine which, if either of them, is going to make the first move.
-
Awesome update - things are moving SO fast!
-
Well now, this is just mean! Giving us so many possibilities and clarifying absolutely none of them OK, so maybe one. It’s going to be a long week...

Hey Great start, I feel as though I’ve just watched the opening credits and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
-
These guys are fun, I’m looking forward to seeing how they all get along.
-
Great start, I’m definitely going to be following this to see how it goes. And on that note... as cute as these boys seem to be, I actually don’t want them to end up together. There’s so much ‘real life’ in stories that focussed on the negatives, and then abject fantasy when it comes to the positives, it would be awesome to have some happy middle ground where everyone is safe and happy, but not necessarily with the closest/nearest/semi-related/least probable/used-to-be-their-bully boy around. Sry - that rant isn’t directed at you Can’t wait for more!
-
Yes - that seems like a fair description of him!
-
Thanks @Ronyx - as always, a whole bunch of drama that is bound to get worse before there’s any hope of it getting better, and I know I’m going to be reading every bit of it as it unfolds.
-
Steady now! These are two of the finest dishes known to exist. If only you could combine the two things... Mmmmm.

I think I have some double standards here. I generally consume media for the entertainment value, but when I’m writing, I’m happy to push my own values out there, usually subtly, but still. I don’t think anything is too overt though, so people can just enjoy the story. But now you’ve got me thinking, isn’t all of my writing informed by my own views and values? Probably. I don’t have a very good imagination, so I tend to use what I know. Is it possible (for me) to write purely for entertainment? Hmmm, this needs more thought.

lets work together Topic Tuesday #3: What Inspires You to Write
Sam Wyer replied to Brayon's topic in Writer's Circle
Similar to others, it started with a very clear sense of “OMFG what is this shit? People actually think this is good? I could do that...”. And then, when I sat down and started to write, I realised that there was a megaton of stuff in my head that really needs to find it’s way out. And no, I’m not making huge progress on that front After that, then inspiration comes in many forms. Sometimes people I know, often people I don’t, but I overhear, or just watch. Not like stalker-y watching, but brief interactions can then trigger a whole chain of imagined events. Music is always good, a song, a lyric, a moment, can all set off a whole storyline or character. And yes, the posting, being read, reviewed, liked, or even disliked by others, maintaining some level of contact (OK, maybe it’s a low level, but still...) with other writers here on GA, it’s all useful. -
OK - I didn’t actually see that coming at all Good one.

I like the optimism and happiness that you all seem to be enjoying - but seriously, have you not been reading this story for months now? Surely there’s no way @Aceinthehole is going to let you off so easily. It’s really cool that things are going well for all these guys right now, and I, as a hopeless romantic, would like nothing better than a fairytale ending, but I’m trying my best to hold that in check. There’s just too many variables still in play, for a start; the re-forming Of Messiah, the re-ending of Messiah, Teddy and Ryder’s hints towards parenting, Ace’s hints towards their parenting and a ‘simpler solution’ I think he said, Nate still isn’t dead, the new band with Ollie, Ollie and Mark, Teddy and Ollie’s parents... Nope, way too many possibilities for me to be hopeful just yet, and I’m still looking forward to finding out what happens

I’m really not known for being ‘terribly polite’ - in this case it was just easy, becasue I liked the story a lot
