    I love how Lane had to "come out" as straight to his big brother whom he idolizes so much. I still don't know why Casey doesn't come out to his dad, especially since he's already been told that Dad would be OK with it. I am absolutely loving this story! Intriguing characters, original story lines, character growth, and not overwhelming angst. I'm sure I'll finish this story today since I have a hard time putting it down, even to sleep!

    I hate to nitpick, but it really bothers me that you have baseball and football both being played. One is played in the fall and one in the spring. Other than that, good story so far! Jesse is such a cinnamon bun!!

    I am really enjoying the story, especially now that the drawn out angsty heteroish storyline has played out and moved on. One thing that really bothers me though is how Nathan keeps calling Robbie stupid, even if he doesn't "mean it like that". Words do matter and someone being called stupid over and over again by the person they love can cause unintentional, yet very real self esteem problems. Just needed to point that out. Good story, Dodger...keep it up!!!

    I am really not liking Robbies regression sliding into homophobia. It's very difficult to see a main character start out pretty OK with his sexually only to become more and more afraid of it. It's one thing to stay in the closet, even exploring the fact that he might be bi, it's another to regress in his personal acceptance. I'm enjoying your writing style and I am liking the characters but this is becoming uncomfortable to read. Maybe that's a good thing...
