This story is so good! I can viscerally feel Eli's anxiety, his love, and his anger. I've been hoping this whole time that Chris would get caught cheating to make the breakup less angsty, since I hate feeling Eli suffer.

Glad to see that Chris didn't scare Devon off. .. jeesh, he's not even allowed to say the word "date". I'm enjoying the story so far.

Hopefully Devon can hang on just a little bit and not get too upset as Eli tries to figure out that he doesn't love Chris.

I think it's very realistic, especially for a "first love". He meets a cute guy and loses his virginity and then the rose colored glasses come on.

Cute end to the chapter. I wish Robbie could stay with Nathan instead of Don and I wish he would have pushed back on the zero touching rule, but at least Don's coming around, even if a snail could beat him in a foot race. Good chapter, Dodger -
I'm going to stick with it, but both Stefans and the adults actions are really stretching the boundaries of believability right now for me.

After all the glowing reviews I read I had to give this story a go. Stefan is so sweet and complicated and I want to hug him (just like everyone else). This first chapter is written so well. I have a feeling I'm going to be spending most of my waking hours over the next few days taking this story in!

This is a beautiful, intriguing, and we'll paced love story in a rich, realistic world. Original story with hints of "The Princess Bride". Highly recommended.

So the kingdom has no problem with same sex pairings, it is simply the class difference that is the scandal? Interesting. Landon is vile, I hope he gets run through by our sweet prince. Good chapter.

The imagery is extremely vivid, and the world you have built so far is intriguing and believable. The tension between the main characters feels electric. The dialogue flows perfectly. I am really enjoying this so far!

Is Broni from when Marc's name was Brad? Marc + Toni =/= Broni; maybe Tarc?

The editing (or lack thereof) makes this chapter very confusing. You keep mixing up Marc and Toni. Marc goes to the library but suddenly it's Toni looking for info on Toni. Then it's Toni that meets Daphne as she's telling him about Toni. I almost quit reading this.

Warren seems to be a typical woe-is-me sexually confused emotional kid who hates himself and takes it out on everyone else. He's a dick and not a good kind. .. if Marc is openly gay, I'm surprised that never made the gossip rounds when Toni was gathering Intel. I like the diversity of the characters and how the cliques mix together. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Cute story with a strong writing style. The story, and especially the ending could have been developed more, especially since the journal gimmicks was (thankfully) abandoned. Overall a delightful yarn that is just fine on its own but could be something really special if expanded.

I'm enjoying the story but you seem to have moved away from the journal aspect into pure story telling. The narrative flows it's just inconsistent with the first couple of chapters. I look forward to reading the rest of it.

I like the fact that Gibbie is already out to his father. He has enough crappy in his life right now and obviously dad is very supportive. Good chapter! I'm liking the story so far.
