Is it codependent when I feel separation anxiety anytime CJ and Ozzie are away from each other? Maybe its just good writing. Then you had to go and affirm the anxiety by pulling some crap like that at the end 😝. I worry about the gambling thing. CJ is bullheaded enough to make it hard to a) accept that he may not be good at something and B ) walk away from a losing streak. Casinos have the potential to cost him millions of dollars, which would make it harder to leverage his potential independence in discussions /arguments with Caesar. I loved the tour and history of 🇮🇱. Thank you for an entertaining and educational story. Maybe we'll have to start calling you Big Bird for your ability to pull that off -

Hmmm... To me it felt like the opposite. It didn't slow the pace. I felt like I was watching in Fast Forward. For me personally, the tiny snippets of storylines can make me feel like its just enough info to pique my interest but then I'm yanked out of the thread suddenly, and disoriented when the action slows down to a full scene. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to complain, I just wanted to give you feedback as to my experience reading it. I still love the writing and the story! -

Good chapter, Carlos! The first half gave me whiplash though between all the locations and rapidly passing time, it took me a re-read to actually figure out what was happening. The second half was really good and intense. Thank you. -

Another good one, Carlos! That photo shoot sounds exciting (in more ways than one). I read about the six, sexy boys doing a photoshoot and my mind immediately went into the gutter and started composing the Nifty story orgy to go with it. God, I'm bad. 😈 This Friday has pretty much sucked for me but your story is always a bright spot, so thank you. -
I find the narration very jarring and unfocused. Tenses change, sentenses run on and different thoughts are combined into the same paragraphs. The story outline is interesting and there are several good reviews so I won't give up on it yet, but this could really use some thorough editing/beta work.

I read this before on your other site, I'm glad you decided to share it on GA. Its very cute and is a very happy story.

Very cute story. Ians a prick and Marc is sweet. I hope its a happy valentine's day!

Bring your Kleenex with you to read this one. Jake is a heartbroken protagonist trying to deal with the issues of loosing his best friend and how to deal with it in a culture that doesn't allow teenage boys to express things like life and love. The last two letters come on and change tone pretty abruptly, but the theme and the feelings are very consistent. I recommend this story. (4.5/5)

Very emotional and moving story. The way boys are taught to bottle up their feelings at all costs, no matter the intensity of the pain, is one of the most dangerous aspects of our culture. If this was real life I would be worried about Jake. Thank you for the story, and I look forward to reading more from you.

I'm so on the brink of crying right now. Its such an emotionally charged story. I'm glad I don't have to wait for updates, but I can just imagine that the tear-factor probably isn't even close to being maxed out yet. Good job so far. Now where did I put those damn Kleenex?

Good chapter. It was a little slow but they can't all be blowjobs and roses Poor Jackson... Hope he never tries to get into poker, apparently that boy has no poker face atall!

I think you're getting sappy in your old age, Carlos! Another great chapter. The pacing was done very well. It was informative, too! I didn't know Patrick Ewing was coaching at Georgetown now (boy has he put on some weight, lol!) Wonder who Ritchies getting his bell rung from? I hope CJ doesn't get TOO overprotective, Ritchie deserves some fun as long as he's safe. I'm probably the only one of your readers who is actually disappointed (somewhat) to hear about Harley (potentially) getting lovey dovey. You do such a good job of representing a very broad range of lgbtq+ characters I was hoping for a likable Asexual character, which is something very difficult to find in queer literature. But if Harley's happy, then I'm happy. Can't wait to see him on screen again! Bretts reaction to the engagement, while not surprising, was a little disappointing, but CJs reasons and timing are spot on. Thank you for a happy Friday morning -
This is the most erotic story I've read on here in a long time. Innocent, exploration of love and lust. I love it.

Of course you did let it slip, er, I mean foreshadow it in your short story so I knew it was coming up, yet it still caught me totally by surprise until you mentioned the sweaty palms, then I may have squealed like a school girl just a little bit -

YAASSSS!!! Absolutely amazing proposal! It choked me up a little bit (in a good of way) Nice timing with Valentine Day. What a long way our boy has come! So happy for them. CJ and the future first first husband. If it couldn't be Bill, I'm glad it will be Ozzie! -
I like how you're mixing the emotional journey with the physical needs. It feels a little more realistic than most stories where both teenage boys fall in love before any exploration.

Another great chapter. It did feel a little rushed in places, but I understand that you don't want to be repeating too much from previous installments. The whole conversation with the parents about the future seemed very odd to me. CJ seemed over defensive, and it all just seemed very stilted. I do love this story though, and I love the real people you bring into the mix -

Welcome back, CJ! A very good chapter that reintroduced a lot of people without having to spell out who everyone was. -
A good chapter that seems to be moving the storyline along nicely.

This is not an easy story to read, but it is real and masterfully woven together. A heart breaking tale of unrequited romantic love, but deep friendship love gone awry. This story has very real, flawed, yet relatable characters. I recommend it to all. 9/10

Beautiful, heart wrenching, evocative, and multi dimensional. You painted a story that felt so real, and making it from the straight friends perspective was a golden touch. Nathan was a character that was difficult to like at best, but by starting like you did in the prologue, the tragedy added character. If I didn't know how his story played out, he may have come off as too creepy for me to keep reading, but it all came together in a visceral way. Thank you for the story.

Fighting over a girl

So does everyone have fake ID's? Sorry to make my first comment on here a nitpick but I wouldn't think Chili's would be selling drinks to a bunch of high school seniors. I've wanted to comment before with a working theory on the developing story line, but would rather plow through. I just gotta say though, this is very well written and does a fantastic job of showing instead of telling. -
So the president is an evil-twin of Mrs Clinton? I got confused there in the transition. It seemed like you were describing the Cheeto and the closet case as president and VP, then it was a GOP Mrs Clinton. . Hmmmm
