The beautiful romance of these two love birds keeps building and is getting better and better. There are demons and uncertainties, but confidence is growing all the time to make a lasting permanent relationship. Can't wait to hear more about the parents. News about the business has completely dried up too! Obviously ET did not get fired for having a relationship with the client! I would so like to be in Pate & ET's shoes having such a wonderful life together. -
So pleased for Chris and Josh. It was a long time coming but sometimes it takes a while for the stars to align. We've not heard about Mary for a while so I hope she's ok? I'm still waiting for Mike and Matt to finish their studies too! It seems like they need to get a life and raise those cute boys some more. They will soon be out of school! Neil Anderson - the rat should be found very soon before he can carry out his grudge. The cops should have been able to pick him up before now, especially with helicopters being available.

nobody is ever quite prepared for the love and bond that forms at the emergence of a birth. It is overwhelming and so joyous, and I am pleased for Adam that he has the support he needs at this precious time. Ian is a brick as usual and I'm sure Paddy will dote on having a little sister. Mr & Mrs Wright deserve medals just for having to put up with such mixed emotions. I take my hat off to them alone.

This story is one sugar coated episode at present. Important, maybe for the next chapters, but I'm ready to see what happens. Not liking this road traffic accident very much....ummmm!

What a lovely christmas. I especially liked the time taken to have Christmas with Grandma. Very fitting and appropriate. As for the villan, grrrrh! Bad news.

Fabulous writing, I can see Martha and David pairing up next!!! Will Chris and Josh become an item I wonder too, with Chris effectively having to give up the police force I think this would relieve him of a burden he didn't need to help him come out! We'll see. Andie and Jeff are for keeps. Its an amazing love story this family.

This last conversation with Josh is so so so powerful and incredibly well written. Let's see how the counselling skills and homework turn out. Can't wait to be a part of this story line.

I really appreciate the effort that has gone into writing this story and this thread. It is so important to learn and implement in life all the expressions and actions these two beautiful people have carried out by example. The fact that the church was teaming with people was not just because of the invites but because these people love each other, and share that love with others. It is through sharing their love and values that they embody what Christ came to earth to show us what to do. If only all human kind would act through love. Looking forward to reading part 3 now! Thank you.

Why do you Americans get so hung up on Toad in the Hole, its a fantastic dish and a great way of helping children learn to adjust to eating like grown ups. Economical as Paddy pointed out and definitely a comfort food. As the batter rises it becomes light and fluffy. In Yorkshire the batter once cooked can be called a Yorkshire Pudding and eaten either as a savoury dish or as a sweet pudding. Delicious! But on the flip side I don;t get peanut butter and jello sandwiches so it proves it takes all sorts to make the world go round! I digress, keep up the story writing and I am looking forward to seeing Paddy fell Anna to the point even she can't argue with him!

Can't help but cry with joy over this story. You have truly captured how love really is in ALL its forms. You deserve an oscar. If there was more love like this shown in public and on TV the world really could be a better place. We don't need material possessions, just love, food, clothes and shelter. (sex is debatable!)

I appreciate this is a story, and love the fact that this marriage can be properly blessed, however, I would have thought that there would have been a bigger struggle with the priest wrestling with theology and impact of their future actions. I am however completely convinced that Matt and Mike deserve to be wed properly in the eyes of God. They are rock solid together. Awesome.

A fantastic chapter well done. I believe that Adam and Ian should kill Anna with kindness as she can't handle it in any way shape of form. For her to watch two perfectly loving people raise her child would be pure torture for her and that's how it should be! However I am seriously concerned that Anna's nasty genes might get passed on to the baby which would be a disaster. God forbid.

I like how you created the desire and lust for each other again, even through the pain and mistrust. I think the way you describe the parenting helped them realise that they needed each other through the giving of themselves. A joy.

Had Matt talked with Mike and expressed his desire for kids surely they could have found a surrogate or adopted. I can't imagine how poor Mike is going to cope with the possibility of rebuilding his life in these circumstances.

I am now thoroughly numb! All I can think is that because they were all so young they still have time to find the right partner. What a carry on! Its like someone threw a bomb into the middle of the family and they are all scattered over the country. (thankfully physically unscathed) poor Mike he didn't deserve to be dumped like that and he didn't even fight to keep Matt but merely accepted the situation outwardly anyway. This story is so emotionally draining.

You know how deep they all love each other by the amount of hurt and pride they are all suffering. I think Paddy is amazing, being so strong and supportive for a guy of his age. And what a dad Ian has too! Between them I'm sure they can work something out and fast. Paddy needs normality back in his life very quickly. keep up the great writing.

Wonderful writing shows how people ought to behave towards each other. It is so easy to picture yourself as part of this family, and who can not applaud the good deeds that they do. I love the fact that each family member nurtures each other, it is so rewarding. May the joy of reading be equalled with the joy of writing to form a united marriage of togetherness. Peace and safe living to you all.

this story is awesome. great characters, plot and jokes too. In fact its the first story I've read on here that has been to a bath house!

I really like these two lovable characters that appear very level headed for their age. However, I'm not comfortable with the large wealth both have. Yes it can be romantic, but 90% of the population doesn't have this wealth and opulence. Looking forward to the future chapters in the lives of these two wonderful men.

I never thought I would continue reading through so many chapters. Usually they become predictable and self indulgent. This writing is earthy, real and powerful and gritty. It shows unsullied and pure love, people in fantastic relationships, their problems, woes and happiness. The emotions are real and meaningful and have most importantly been experience, which makes it genuine. Writing like this is noble, professional and a pleasure to read - but I'm sure was exceptionally painful to commit to paper/disk/memory drive. Bravo, very brave and well done. I salute you with the utmost respect.
