  1. I think it is really important to have stories like this to read. Yes, it is a tragic situation and very painful indeed, but that pain brings sincerity and truth and realism that can't be denied or hidden. Nor should it! But what you have shown is that through talking, engagement, acceptance with the 'survivors' (not quiet the right word!) people/relatives/lovers can slowly begin to move on with their grief. I really liked the empathy between Dirk and Woodrow. They understood each other and each other's pain. I think you have achieved an awful lot in one chapter, and I don't believe there is a need to write any more about these characters. The story has hope and that shows progress, which for me means their encounter was blessed and perhaps endorsed. Well done and thank you for writing such an epic story. Brilliant. Chris

    Why Pride?

I think this story should be illustrated and read across the world in all schools as a way of showing prejudice. My late mum always used to say 'if you can't say anything nice, say nothing at all' and I think she's right. How can holding hands be anything other than peaceful. People just need to learn to accept we are from all walks of life and no body needs to harm anyone else. Why humankind can't live in peace I don't know. Chris England

    Epilogue

I feel like I am a little late to the party! This story I have read in one sitting as it gripped me from the start. Very Well written, lots of twists and turns and full of pure love throughout. It was so sincere and warm, but we never found out whether Mia had a boy or a girl! I am so glad Corbin didn't have a clue about how to lite a fire and that Paul's gaydar was working so well. There love is infectious and a joy for all to see. A beautiful story and something you should be proud of. Thanks Chris England
  4. Geoff, this whole story I have read this afternoon in one go. It has been so exhilarating and awesome. I have cried a lot along the way too. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us readers. I have really appreciated your skill. I wish all your readers all the luck and happiness they deserve. Great work - shared - makes its EPIC thanks Chris

Love this story so relaxed and genuinely natural. I'm sure that there's a future for these two hunks. Thanks for the light-hearted story.

    Epilogue

Its amazing what can happen in life, and seemingly from beyond the grave! Wasn't sure where this story was going at first but it sure unraveled through excellent explanation. Very well written, liked the suspense and being introduced to the D/S thing - (its not my cup of tea - though) Best wishes and thanks for entertaining. Chris

    Chapter 15

I have re-read this story again this afternoon. WOW. It really tugs at the heart strings all the way through. The way you capture the unconditional love between Cal and Davey is extraordinary. Its great that they have found each other and that they were meant to be together. I am in awe of them and very jealous of their love for one another. Brilliant writing, considered and heart felt, emotion and truth all poured out in a realistic way. Oh and by the way nice to have story set in England for a change too! Keep up the good work. Its so enjoyable. Thank you. Chris York England (on the day that Ellie Goulding got married in York Minister!) 31.08.2019

    JV Chapter 3

This story has a lot of potential indeed. I feel it is a little sugar coated at present though and needs more depth. I appreciate that Walker may be a bit naive in terms of his personal life experiences but so far everything has been a bit too easy for him. Don;t get me wrong there is lots of personal family issues not explored yet which are troubling and disturbing too! As for Mr Wright I'm not sure if he is the sugar daddy type, or just a hard nosed business man winding Walker into a Subdom role! As I say there is loads of potential here. Lets see how it pans out! Chris

    Chapter 15

An epic journey that is just as powerful on my second read through. Well written and full of humbling characters who have a lot to give and more importantly, do give, leading by example. So pleased I re-read this story again. Thank you. Chris

    Epilog

I Stand Corrected David. For me it doesn't really matter if it is one person or more. The results are the same. A person's life is wrecked needlessly with untold damage. Will it stop, I think sadly not. Can we all help just one person, YES we can and we must. I hope I have not caused any offence. I do try and do my little bit to assist where I can and I hope others do to. Peace Chris

    Light Lunch

What I like about this story is the way it is staccato in format. Slightly edgy and jumpy but both not wanting to upset the other whilst realising that they both have 'permission' to explore love again. How refreshing and beautiful. And by the way I am jealous of that 6 pack! Happy days.
  16. Captivating narrative. I like how there are so many thoughts and memories without anything really being explicitly said. Just knowing there is a history, a magic, a sparkle, such joy. Its intoxicating. Hope that shoulder is a little better today.🍺

    Chapter 1 Hooked

You are very welcome Gary. Its a pleasure to share compliments and know we have similar outlooks various things. We all come from different backgrounds and experiences but as humans all share basic characteristics. Maslow crowned the Hierarchy of Needs in the business world and I think it got it absolutely right, but I think Mother Theresa understood it better! Hope you are using a heat pad on that shoulder. Gentle exercise no doubt is better for a long term recovery I hope!
  18. People watching is one of those hobbies that should be taught in school. It makes people more aware of their surroundings, and helps to focus on others rather than dwelling on themselves. We all love, cry and feel pain in our daily lives - but learn to differentiate or distinguish nuances between those feelings as situations either become similar or empathetic. When we watch others and take note, we then have the ability to make a difference. Maybe a smile, a gesture or simple hello can make all the difference to people feeling lonely. I wish humanity was less greedy and selfish, and were more humble and considerate. Peace and blessings to you all.

    Chapter 1 Hooked

Having recently lost my pen friend whom I conversed with virtually daily for a year I feel I have lost my soul mate and feel cheated I never got to meet him or say goodbye. So your stories are such a comfort. Its so good to read about true love, the most powerful and important thing there is in life. What I found very moving and profound was the way you brought Grandma into the story on so many levels. Grandparent relationships can be the best bond in life, significant to the day we die. I've been reading your stories for years and am so glad that you have managed to pull another triumph out of the wonderment of love. Hope the shoulder heals well. Don't damage it by writing again too soon. We want more from you going forward and we know you have more to give! Love and hugs and much peace to all GAY people in particular, but throughout the world too.

I think this story has run its course! Time to break off and move on. Thanks for the read, it was enjoyable.

    Epilog

The sad thing is there are many thousands of people like this all over the world. Abused during their life and then unable to function as an adult. As if life isn't tough enough........already...... I'm glad this story shows someone giving someone else a break. We need a lot more heroes in the world. God Bless Mother Theresa and all her fellow sisters.

    Weekend Company

All relationships need to have firm foundations so I hope the journey to establishing the foundations pays off with strong communication and commitment on both sides. I hope the prayer bangles continue to feature too!
  23. Seems like Jonah is very sure of his feelings. But is he on the rebound of a breakup? 12 yrs age gap is large when you are young. But Love know no bounds so I live in hope and we will see what the next chapters have in store for us in this game of cat and mouse!

    Weekend Company

Can't wait for the next chapters of this budding relationship. I hope Pate is ready to open up to timmy about his past and then there will be another wedding very soon I hope!

    Weekend Company

The more I get to read about Timmy the more I like him. His confidence has grown and his assertiveness is welcomed. Pate is surely going to get his ass truly ploughed by ET very soon. Its time Randolph was made aware of this relationship and Pate should buy his company out and sack Randolph if he disses their relationship! Granny Louise must be due another visit very soon too!
