That's a nice prediction, right there!
-
But, but... what would life be without excitement! And build up, of course! Jokes aside, thank you! Glad to see you in the comment section again!
-
Drew is still getting kicked to the floor in this comment section, too, lol!
-
According to the comment section, the fireman should be Jack Reacher! Sorry, just Reacher. (even his momma called him that)
-
Inadvertently, the comment section turned into Reacher's fan club. I approve!
-
He-he, I suppose he might not be as appealing for the young - 20s - crowd, as for the rest of us. But hell, I grew up with big blockbuster stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Jean-Claude Van Damme, and seeing Reacher just reminded me of all those heroes those buff guys played back in the day.
-
Just check out the reply I gave to @scrubber6620's comment earlier, as I gushed out about Reacher plenty.
-
What a large fish... I wonder what kind of fish Rusty would like to be... I need to think. It must be a pun in there somewhere, I only have to find it!
-
Ahem, allow me to put my glasses on. I read Killing Floor by Lee Child several years ago (that's the book on which Reacher was based), so when I saw that they made a series featuring Jack Reacher, I was sort of like, hmm, no way they can bring to the screen a character that practically lives in his own head and is so detached from both his internal and external world to such a degree that he seems to be as close to a robot as someone can be. And, boy, was I proven wrong, he-he. Not only Alan Ritchson was an amazing choice for the role because of his outstanding physique. Hell, I think he's even more handsome than the Reacher I pictured in my head while I was reading the book. The actor did one hell of a job by portraying Reacher down to a tee. That's his skill as an actor, of course, and I hope he gets a lot more roles because of the amazing work he did on Reacher. Everyone involved in the making of the series did a great job. First of all, they had to adapt a 25-year old book to present day without turning it into something else, and they succeeded. They had to find the perfect Reacher, and they clearly did in Alan Ritchson. And oh hell, I so loved all that old-school ass-kicking that seems to lack in productions today. The banter between him and the chief detective, the whole emotional vulnerability that surfaces at one point... well, I need to stop, before I turn this comment into another book. Bottom line is, yeah, I absolutely love the guy. I have a soft spot for this ex-military, ex-special forces type. Like Jett's dad in Be The Father Of This Child, for instance. So, I am very much ahead of your rec, he-he... I do have a thing written in a very incipient phase that features two dads, one of them being very much like Reacher... so you see, with me, all bases are covered, lol. Anyway, I don't know when I'll be able to write that book, but I so want to bring those characters to life, too.

I like to believe that Matty is going to prove himself more than worthy of Rusty. The running away was just his first reaction, but let's see what follows My lips are sealed for now, however. An older silver fox guy... hmm... I don't know if I can fit him in here... but maybe in another book?
-
We'll see about that...
-
With such a bigger than life character, I just couldn't do otherwise
-
Oh, no, I see attempts of bribing... and spotting of weaknesses....
-
I knew I could count on you for some crazy funny gifs. It looks like you have a special power for finding them. Well, Rusty is going to be Rusty. Matty, you will get to meet him and know him well. Zoey, I think you'll come to love, you'll see As for the rest of the gang... well, you already know them!
-
I certainly hope so!
-
He-he, in all honesty, I haven't realized the Maddie/Matty effect until someone pointed it to me, lol! (Rusty would have some arduous debate to ignite over the tail thing)
-
I was just as excited to get into Rusty's story, so here it is Matty won't run that much, though... because, well, that's his crush we're talking about.
-
Well, that's the truth of it, yes, and now, Rusty starts on that journey. Matty... well, he'll prove his mettle, and I hope it's going to be a surprise and a refreshing character for everyone. For all the silliness I have planned out - as well as sexy times, in case anyone was wondering - I like to believe that these characters will also dig deeper, as they are both intelligent and looking for something that is not in plain sight, and yet it has to exist. Have I confused everyone yet?
-
I must warn you... you have a lot of competition regarding Rusty. There's even a 'war' going on...
-
I'm happy to hear that! And cat boys... ahem, well, better to get to know them through Rusty's eyes, lol!
-
Oh, they left, because they couldn't take the heat. Rusty might have found ways to softcore terrorize them if they didn't!
-
Happy to hear that! I can't believe that it ended up being over 200k words long! And I'm sure glad people didn't quit!
-
And the week of waiting is up!
-
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed it!
-
Uncle Rusty would be the most awesome uncle in the history of uncles!
