Not only Ray, remember that there's someone else involved now! As for the entire group of friends, oh, yes, they're here for a reason, and they will appear whenever they're needed - or not, I'm looking at you, Rusty - as a power for good. As for Drew, the bad guy, there will be more about him as the story goes. Thank you for your interest in my story!

I certainly hope that the 'fight' will be to your liking! Jonathan and Maddox are, at this point, still pretty much just two strangers who want to get to know each other better. What they cannot express - yet - with their words, they might just do with their actions! And how do they say... oh, yes, actions speak louder than words! I really hope that the new chapter will surpass expectations!

It's true that when I was writing this particular chapter, I thought of wrapping things up in just a couple of more chapters. But then I mapped out all the things that I wanted to be solved, and realized that I couldn't cramp them all together. You say some very interesting things... but I won't give you spoilers! I do recommend you to brag a little, though, when you see what points you touched just right! And I'm happy to hear that I still keep you guessing!

Oh, Rusty... yeah, he's one hell of a character (I secretly love him more than others because he has so many shades... and I don't mean of grey, lol). Nicely noticed that he played the villain - it's one of the things he knows how to do

You're right... and you're right. Jonathan is scared of his own shadow at this point, and getting to know Rusty a little bit better - lol! - must have been quite the experience. In due time, he will learn, both to share and open more, and to be honest. As for Connor... oh, well... I won't say a thing!

That's so very true. Jonathan lived a certain type of life before getting to Sunny Hill, and being a poor judge of character is part of him, and something he'll have to work on. In Connor's case, he feels something's off, but he just doesn't want to give in to what his brain - and heart - tell him. Good thing Maddox is there to mess up his thoughts, lol!
