Why am I not in the least surprised that it is you taking things so deep and understanding them? I always expect different reactions at what happens in my stories, because it is a human thing to do, and I'm, well, very interested in human beings, or else I wouldn't write. And there comes, a comment like yours, that practically makes me understand what I wrote the things the way I did. It's really amazing, and the level of insight in how you see things really surprises me in the most pleasant of ways every time. Yes, a mixed bag, that's the very definition of what makes us human. We can never be 100% sure of anything, and that's something we have to learn to live with. And we make assumptions and use labels because our human minds are limited, as much as we might not like to accept it, and this is just a way of having some semblance of order in the chaos around us.

There is always hope, of course. But it's a process, and I think that Maddox will eventually come to see the bigger picture, and understand that everything is a process.

Thank you! I'll never put words in readers' mouths so to speak, since I'm always interested in how people of all kinds react and perceive my stories, and how they are written. But when someone gets so close to what I've been meaning to convey, it makes me really happy. Maddox was, indeed, a bit too infatuated, and a bit too air-headed to think things through before taking this to his parents. As for the parents' reaction, it's my belief that we, as children, never get to really know our parents, despite being so close to them. Of course, I might be wrong, but as good friends as you can be with your parents, they will always be your parents, feeling entitled to think that they know what's best for you. Just a take, anyone can disagree with me.

The problem is created, yes... but believe that a solution will also be presented at the right time. PS - I feel like I should repeat this - HEA is my middle name!
