  1. I don't know... I must have gotten lost in translation here... I mean, if Lyn said it as a question... is this the wrong way to say it? Lol, this unintended mistakes can be so funny. The opera - soap or not - will continue!
  2. In the end, there will be a happy end But Lyn needs even more than this to realize the whole truth... and he'll get it. Alexander will speak a bit about his marriage. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
  3. Chapter Fifty – [Memory, Senior Year, November] – Death by a Thousand Cuts Brad had been easy, as far as gift-picking went. And it had given Lyn the perfect opportunity to offer the Fosters a token of his gratitude. He smiled as he pictured the look of surprise on Mrs. Foster’s kind face when he handed them the cruise tickets. Brad didn’t take much after her, as far as facial features went, since he was the spitting image of his father, but there was definitely something in his mannerisms t
  4. Hmm, I can hardly wait for your final reactions to the story once it's over (including about Brad)... Because I think it must be the most bittersweet thing I've ever written... Still, there will be HEA - trust in the power of my second middle name...
  5. It was meant to be dark... we're in Lyn's POV (as we'll always be). And yes! Lyn is now free of a part of his past, and I think it's for the better!
  6. Hmm, very interesting analysis... And I think it was a good opportunity for me to show that two people can share certain traits yet be radically different. And yes, it is the array of qualities the father catches like in a snapshot when he interviews Lyn, qualities he has, too, but they are used differently, and that's what makes Lyn different than his biological parent. Lyn's the better one in my opinion... the man sees that his son has a spine, and a pretty good one, but that will never turn into heartless confidence like in his case. Recognition without mercy... that sounds right on the money. And that's why I use the word 'heartless'. Lyn passed the test, nonetheless. I won't say a word about the rest. I want to let the story surprise you
  7. Lyn truly took his mother's choice of not letting the father know to heart... And he also formed his opinion of the man years before. That said, when he meets the man in question, his father behaves like the dangerous man Lyn imagined him to be. This justifies and strengthen his opinion. You're right that the man challenges Lyn to see if there's a lie lined up and if it works well enough. Mom didn't want Dad in their lives. For all her flaws, she knew that revealing Lyn's existence might be like playing Russian roulette. She was well aware of putting herself - and her son - in danger since she correctly thought her action would be interpreted as blackmail. Lyn didn't have to live with that kind of burden, at least. And that is all I'll be commenting. (But keep the speculations going - you know you'll always see in the end if you were right or not.)
  8. Yeah, unfortunately for me, Alexander did use those words... ugh... silly me...
  9. Very interesting And this is the point where I shut up - take it as you will
  10. Guys... I didn't mean that! Oh, lol. I seriously didn't want Alexander to mirror Lyn's dad's words! It just happened... As for Arya, she's still alive, but she won't appear again - she must have slipped my mind at one point, so sorry...
  11. I like to think that Lyn is Zidane in this lil' scenario! (without sharing any of that personality!) Oh, what a time to see this moment live, lol!
  12. Chapter Forty-Nine – The Right Thing “Shouldn’t we address the elephant in the room?” Lyn asked, resting his head on Alexander’s belly while playing lazily with his current lover’s spent cock. “That’s only the elephant’s trunk.” Alexander laughed, the rumble in his chest reaching Lyn like a tickle. “Shut up, you arrogant ass,” Lyn said but moved his lips closer to tease the crown gently with a kiss. “You’re not that big.” “All right, I agree.” Alexander caressed Lyn’s head s
  13. Theo needs all the lessons he can get! It's not that he doesn't like kissing - it's more like he's afraid of what he might do if he enjoys it too much...
  14. We'll see what happens... But all of them have new things to learn and discover
  15. Jack is the wild card, pun intended... but you need a bit of chaos in order or else things get boring fast.
  16. It might be all it takes... or not
  17. That is a very good question
  18. Chapter Fourteen – Team Building Jack clutched the bag in his arms with all his might while he watched the landscape rushing past below them while Theo flew over the pine forest in his jet. The moon still shone so brightly that the shapes of the crowns of the trees were visible. Things were getting real, and after the excitement of the day, Jack would’ve expected himself to be pretty tired. Only his eyes were wide open, and his mind was going around and around. His fingers itched to pl
  19. They boldly go where they haven't gone before But it's so good what you say - Lyn is finally living in the present, not in his tortured imagination, when he's having sex with Alexander. It was as short as an inhale-exhale, lol! Now, seriously, Lyn needs to prove himself as a top... I like mirroring moments, yes, and I believe it can be one to the scene in the first chapter when El tells Lyn about becoming someone's boyfriend.
  20. Yes, this is where the growth happens for Lyn! And despite the ups and downs, he will be a changed man in the end - or one who has evolved at least. According to wiser people than me, change only happens when it becomes inevitable... so let's see
  21. Lyn didn't mean it! He just couldn't control himself, lol.
  22. I knew I could count on you to 'dissect' this the proper way, Maestro... Lyn is doing a lot of developing as someone with a lot of internal struggles. And Alexander is there to confirm and support him every step of the way. At the same time, he's keeping his eyes on the prize. He's not indulging Lyn more than what's necessary for them to take the next step. At the same time, he's everything you said. And oh, my heart. No, it's not perfect; yes, it's messy. But what you said about them in those moments, Lyn losing it, Alexander showing support no matter what, these are the thoughts I wanted to convey to readers. Thanks a lot for your in-depth analysis, like usual!
